Abstract:
An imaging apparatus includes a determining unit operable to determine whether a subject indicated by a feature quantity information extracted by an extracting unit is a same face indicated by a feature quantity information stored in a storing unit as the registration candidate, and a display unit operable to display a screen for prompting a user to perform an operation concerning registration in accordance with number of times the determining unit determines that the subject indicated by the feature quantity information extracted by the extracting unit is the same subject indicated by the feature quantity information stored in the storing unit as the registration candidate.
Abstract:
A scanning method of scanning apparatus and a scanning apparatus are provided. Firstly, when the scanning apparatus is in the default reflective document scanning state and a document is placed in the scanning apparatus, the scanning apparatus automatically activates reflective document scanning function to perform scanning. Next, a document holder is disposed in the feeding entrance of the scanning apparatus, wherein after the scanning apparatus activates the transmissive document scanning state and the document is placed in the document holder, the scanning apparatus automatically activates transmissive document scanning function to perform scanning. The scanning method automatically activates corresponding scanning function without performing document recognition, incurs lower power consumption, produces fast recognition, and is applicable to various scanning apparatuses having both reflective document and transmissive document scanning function. The scanning apparatus has well-designed structure, incurs lower manufacturing cost, and does not require complicated light emitting element and light measuring element.
Abstract:
A clamping apparatus capable of fixing a roll film is disclosed. The clamping apparatus includes: a carrier comprising a slot; a cover positioned in the slot; and a cannelure formed between the cover and the carrier, for guiding the film inserted from the first film door to a predetermined position. The cover includes: an upper ramp, positioned on one side of the cannelure opening, for guiding the film from the first film door to the cannelure opening, wherein a first edge of the upper ramp is near the cannelure opening, and a second edge of the upper ramp is away from the slot opening and inclines to the first edge of the upper ramp.
Abstract:
A film scanning method is provided. When the film is judged as a negative film, the scanning device sets the scan exposure time for the film according to the base background color of the film. The negative film is scanned for the scan exposure time, wherein, the film passes through the scanning device at one time so as to complete the above judge of the film type and scanning of the film. The film scanning method automatically completes the recognition of film type, performs accurate scanning based on the scan exposure time, expands the dynamic range and reduces noise impacts, so as to obtain a scanned image with higher accuracy.
Abstract:
A film scanner is disclosed. The film scanner can provide a preview, scanning and storage functions without connecting to a computer. It is characterized in that a PCBA module includes a main board, a function key board and a screen display panel, an image sensor with a lens and an image processing and storage module. A backlight mechanism is set near the bottom of the film scanner. In addition, a memory card inserting may be provided. The film scanner operates independently and allows a user to preview a digitalized image captured from a film.
Abstract:
Images obtained by prescanning a transparent original by an image reading apparatus are output from a printing apparatus as a navigation sheet on which the images are laid out together with additional information fields. The navigation sheet containing additional information is read, and the additional information is recognized. The transparent original which is left after prescanning is scanned, and printing is performed on the basis of the recognized additional information. This makes it possible to print out a desired image under desired conditions from the transparent original, in which a plurality of images are recorded, by operating a single apparatus without any external device such as a host computer.
Abstract:
A radiographic film reading device is used in clinic dental diagnosis and treatment. The radiographic film reading device includes a film holder, a main body, a substrate and a backlight module. The film holder supports a radiographic film thereon. The main body has a receptacle for accommodating the film holder therein. The substrate is disposed inside the main body and has an optical sensor. The backlight module is disposed inside the main body for emitting a light beam from bottom to top. The light beam penetrates through the radiographic film and is then imaged onto the optical sensor of the substrate, so that the image of the radiographic film is processed into a digital form.
Abstract:
To set at least the main portion of a read original on an image reading apparatus while avoiding a discontinuous portion, the position of the discontinuous portion of photoelectric conversion element arrays is indicated, or an original holder to be used to set the original while avoiding the discontinuous portion is arranged.
Abstract:
A film holding apparatus for use with a scanner is provided. The film holding apparatus selectively holds a positive film and a negative film that are to be scanned. The positive film is thicker than the negative film. The film holding apparatus includes a base, a plate disposed above the base, and a pressing unit disposed above the plate. The plate has a surface for selectively receiving a positive film and a negative film. When the surface of the plate receives the positive film, the plate vertically moves for a distance toward the base. When the surface of the plate receives a negative film, the negative film is held between the surface of the plate and the pressing unit.
