摘要： A pull-type harvesting machine is provided having a hydraulically controlled header tilt adjustment mechanism that can be operated from the tractor seat of a towing vehicle. The tilt adjustment mechanism includes a hydraulic tilt circuit and a remotely operated control valve assembly connectable with the tilt circuit and another operating circuit of the harvester. The valve assembly is shiftable between a pair of alternative positions for communicating either the operating circuit or the tilt circuit with the towing vehicle's source of hydraulic pressure. Accordingly, a single source of pressurized fluid may be controlled from within the towing vehicle to alternatively operate either the header tilt mechanism or another function of the harvester, such as swinging of a pulling tongue from side-to-side for lateral positioning of the machine relative to a towing vehicle.

摘要： This invention provides a dual hitch whereby two rakes, tedders or other trail implements can be operated at one time behind a tractor. The dual hitch is designed so that the implements towed by the tractor may be hitched and operated without alteration to the implements themselves. The dual hitch provides the needed operative components. The forward part of the dual hitch mounts on the three-point-hitch of the tractor. A pivot is provided in the dual hitch to allow the rearward implement to operate selectively on a swath to either side of the tractor and the forward implement. In an embodiment of this invention, a hydraulic system is part of the dual hitch to provide adequate power to the rearward implement.

摘要： A levelling mechanism for use a in lift system of a windrowing machine of the type including a tractor unit and a swather header to permit the use of a grain header which is held suspended above the ground rather than a hay type swather header which normally engages the ground during cutting. The type of lift systems used in some known hay windrowers include a pair of lift assemblies each of which has a single action lift cylinder. The two cylinders are supplied from a common supply line, and because the moving lift components of the two assemblies are individually activated by their respective cylinders the suspended grain header does not remain levelled under certain conditions, such as if there is a build up of greater crop weight at one end relative to the other. The present levelling mechanism includes a torsion bar carried at the front of the tractor unit, the torsion bar having radial arms at opposite ends which are connected to the moving component of the adjacent lift assembly so as to resist movement of the moving components out of unison, thus keeping the head level under normal cutting conditions.

摘要： A hitching arrangement for attaching a mower deck to a propelling vehicle has a lift shaft rotatably supported by the mower deck and extending transversely across the deck. At least one hitch arm is fixedly secured on one end to the lift shaft. The hitch arm has a hook located on its other end with a downwardly facing opening adopted for engagement with a generally horizontally disposed attaching member on the propelling vehicle. A cutting height adjustment mechanism is operably coupled to the lift shaft and adjusts the cutting height of the mower. The adjustment mechanism has a first position corresponding to an elevated cutting height of the mower deck and a second position corresponding to a lowered cutting height of the deck. A deck stand is provided which is releasably attached to the deck. When the deck stand is attached to the deck, movement of the adjustment mechanism toward its second position causes the hitch arm to be swung upwardly to disengage the hook from the attaching member, and movement of the adjustment mechanism toward its first position causes the hitch arm to be swung downwardly for engaging the hook with the attaching member.

摘要： The present invention concerns a self-aligning coupling structure for releasably connecting a rear end of a feeder assembly to a frame of an agricultural harvester such as a combine and the like. The self-aligning coupling structure includes a pair of releasable couplings laterally spaced from each other on opposite sides of the feeder assembly and combine frame. Each releasable coupling includes first and second apertured coupling elements. One of the apertured coupling elements is provided on and extends from the combine frame while the other apertured coupling element is provided on and extends from a housing of the feeder assembly. The coupling elements each have complementary guide surfaces provided thereon. When the feeder assembly is to be coupled to the combine frame, the guide surfaces on the respective coupling elements of each releasable coupling cooperate with each other to self-align both horizontally and vertically the apertures in the coupling elements relative to each other thereby facilitating the passage of a pivot pin through the aligned apertures so as to releasably connect the feeder assembly to the combine frame for pivotal movement about the axis of the pivot pins.

摘要： A convertible sulky is interchangeable between stand-up and sit-down configurations so as to allow a mower operator to operate the mower from either a standing or seated position behind the mower. The convertible sulky comprises an H-shaped support wheelbase frame, to opposite legs of which a pair of wheel-mounting columns are affixed. Attached to the H-shaped support wheelbase frame member is a T-shaped mower attachment frame, having a central leg, an upper end of which is inclined forwardly H-shaped support wheelbase frame for attachment with the rear of the mower, by means of a ball-hitch fixture. A pair of generally L-shaped foot plates are secured to the frame structure formed by the T-shaped mower attachment frame and the H-shaped support wheelbase frame. A removable seat attachment comprises a column member having a first leg portion at a lower end thereof, sized for insertion into the second, lower end of the central leg of the T-shaped mower attachment frame, and a second leg portion at an upper end thereof. The second leg portion of the seat attachment extends horizontally from the column portion and receives one leg of a U-shaped seat spring member, to which a seat is attached.
