The method and apparatus discloses a badge-like portion having a celebratory greeting message disclosed on the front side thereof and a clip on the rear side for attaching the badge in the lapel area of clothing being worn by the user. Also being attached to the rear surface of the badge is a wire attachment means having a pair of ends wherein one end can be threaded through the money so that the ends of the wire can then be reattached to the rear of the badge portion.

    摘要： A bow pin and bow-pin system are provided. The bow pin is formed with a preferably cylindrical shaft having a tip at one end which includes a tapered portion, preferably conical in shape, terminating in a sharp point for use in hand-forming applications. The angle of taper defining the sharp point is no greater than about 9.5 degrees, making it possible to manually press the pin through multiple layers of ribbon and underlying packaging material with a force no greater than 7.5 lbs, preferably no greater than 4 lbs. The base of the tip is of greater diameter than the shaft creating an annular retaining shoulder when the tip is forced through ribbon material and a package or other similar structure. The pin also includes a head of suitable size and shape to facilitate manual insertion and to provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance. A method is further provided whereby this specially designed pin is used to manually attach multiple layers of ribbon material to a package or similar structure to form a bow in situ.

    摘要： A holder adapted to be removably attached to a garment, such as a shirt or blouse, for releaseably holding a pair of eyeglasses on the garment. The holder includes a body formed by a pair of end parts which effectively form closed loops, and a central part which interconnects the end parts. An attachment device, such as a pin, is carried by the central part for attachment to a garment. The central part can either be vertical, horizontal or inclined when the body is attached to the garment, and the end parts are adapted to receive and removably hold one of the two temples of a pair of eyeglasses while the other temple extends longitudinally of the first temple but externally of the end parts. Several embodiments of the invention are disclosed.
