    摘要: A ball screw comprising a threaded rod and a ball nut making a rectilinear motion around the rod as the rod is rotated. A first load ball groove and a second load groove which have an offset relation to each other are formed in the inner surface of the ball nut. A pre-load is imparted to ball bearings rolling in these two load grooves. The ball nut has a resilient portion between the first and second load ball grooves. The resilient portion can be displaced axially. Any excessive pre-load created by the error introduced either in the lead of the ball-rolling groove or in the lead of the first or second load ball groove is absorbed by the resilient portion. Consequently, the novel ball screw is superior in accuracy to the prior art ball screw, and is easier to fabricate.

    摘要: An electric steering apparatus which effects position adjustment by electric drive has a screw shaft parallel to upper and lower columns. A nut member rotatably supported by a housing fixed to a bracket is fixed against movement in the axial direction of the screw shaft and threadably engaged with a screw portion provided at one end of the screw shaft. In a preferred embodiments, the other end of the screw shaft is pivotally connected to the upper column for pivotal movement relative to the bracket in the direction of tilt, the nut member is self-aligning in the housing, and the nut member is rotatively driven by an electric motor to move the screw shaft in the axial direction and thereby move the upper column, whereby position adjustment can be accomplished. The apparatus is provided with a back-lash preventing device in which the screw shaft is pressed against the nut member in a radial direction and the threadably engaged portions of the screw shaft and the nut member are urged against each other.

    摘要: A fluid-powered rotary actuated support for a platform, having a body with a vertical axial orientation during use. A drive member has a drive shaft extending coaxially within the body and a flange attached to an end portion of the shaft toward an upper body end. The shaft and flange are formed as an integral unit free of connection joints therebetween. The flange projects radially outward from the shaft beyond an inner body surface and is rotatable relative to the body through a horizontal plane. A first ball race is formed in the flange and a second ball race is formed in the body with balls disposed therebetween. Linear-to-rotary transmission means disposed within the body are operable for providing rotational movement between the drive member and body. The body utilizes a stationary seal to facilitate seal placement and reduce the overall length of the body. In one embodiment, the transmission means includes a plurality of rollers each having at least two roller disks adjustably axially movable relative to each other within a limited range for backlash elimination purposes. The rollers are rotatably disposed on spindles, each having a free end portion attached to an annular support plate and an opposite end portion rotatably disposed in a piston sleeve bore hole for rotational adjustment of the spindles to axially move the support plate and apply an axial force on the roller disks.

Alternatively, a sealing plate is arranged between the two piston portions and the tensed position of the piston portions is established by the interconnection of the sealing plate, and the sealing plate has a middle opening and an outer periphery both being movable on the forced trajectories of the rotational working cylinder in a sealed manner, respectively.

    摘要: A fluid-powered linear actuator having a body, and an output shaft with a piston portion disposed within the body. The shaft is axially movable in a first direction in response to fluid pressure on the shaft piston portion. A piston sleeve is mounted within the body and has a piston head to define with the shaft piston portion a fluid-tight chamber. A second fluid-tight chamber is provided on the opposite side of the piston head. Exterior sleeve splines transmit torque between the sleeve and the body in response to axial movement of the piston sleeve, and interior sleeve splines transmit axial force between the sleeve and the shaft in response to axial and rotational movement of the piston sleeve. In a preferred embodiment, the sleeve splines, and hence the corresponding splines on the body and shaft have the same hand with the lead of the interior splines being greater than the lead of the exterior splines so that the application of fluid pressure to the first chamber produces axial movement of the piston sleeve and the shaft in opposite directions, with the shaft moving in a first axial direction. The fluid pressure to the first chamber also applying pressure directly on the shaft piston portion to move the shaft in the first axial direction.

    摘要: A feeding apparatus which employs a ball screw includes a movable table movably supported on a fixed bed. A ball screw shaft is supported at one of its ends by the fixed bed in such a manner that the ball screw shaft is movable in the direction of rotation thereof and immovable in the axial direction thereof. A ball nut is fitted on the ball screw shaft through steel balls and is supported by the movable table in such a manner that the ball nut is movable in the direction of rotation thereof and immovable in the axial direction thereof. A first drive source is mounted on the fixed bed to rotate the ball screw shaft, and a second drive source is mounted on the movable table and operatively connected to the ball nut through a hollow transmission shaft. The ball screw shaft has the other end thereof concentrically received in the hollow inside of the transmission shaft in such a manner that the ball screw shaft is rotatable and movable relative to the transmission shaft in the axial direction thereof.

    摘要: A ball nut is sleeved upon a worm via one or more, preferably two, groups of antifriction balls capable of rolling along internal and external screw threads on the ball nut and the worm. Two crosscuts are formed across the internal thread on the ball nut in axially spaced, diametrically opposite positions thereon, each for intercommunicating two neighboring turns of the helical groove therein. Each crosscut is concaved to provide a bypass for one group of balls around the thread on the worm. Thus each group of balls recirculate along one turn of the helical groove in the ball nut, making it possible for the worm to travel axially in response to the rotation of the ball nut. The converter further includes an antifriction bearing having an outer ring surrounding the ball nut via rolling elements confined therebetween, with the ball nut serving as the inner ring of the bearing. There are also disclosed herein feed mechanisms incorporating one and two such rotary-to-linear converters respectively. In either case the ball nut is gear-driven by an electric motor to cause relative endwise movement of the worm together with an object to be fed.
