    摘要: A core of a worm wheel has an axial end surface formed with a first annular recess and another axial end surface formed with a second annular recess. A rim portion has a first inner circumferential portion fixed to the first annular recess and a second inner circumferential portion fixed to the second annular recess. An outer circumferential wall surface of the second annular recess extends from a bottom surface of the second annular recess so as to be perpendicular to the bottom surface. A depth of the second annular recess is at least 0.1 mm but not deeper than half of a gate thickness.

    摘要: A transmission gear has a tooth surface formed of a free-form surface instead of an involute surface and a root area formed of a free-form surface instead of a trochoid surface. With such a transmission gear, the fatigue strength against contact pressure can be increased by reducing the Hertzian stress in the area around the meshing point of the tooth surface. The tooth surface is formed of a free-form surface in which the smallest radius of curvature in an area around a mating pitch point is maximized, and the fatigue strength against bending can be increased by reducing the bending stress at a tooth root portion of the bottom land. In addition, the gear noise can be reduced. The bottom land is formed of a free-form surface in which the smallest radius of curvature in an area around a tooth root is maximized.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive member rotatably supported by a bearing portion provided on a supporting casing; a motor fixed on the supporting casing; a driving gear provided on the supporting casing; and a driven gear for being engaged with the driving gear to be rotated integrally with the photosensitive member. The driven gear includes teeth each of which is crowned such that a tooth thickness is maximum at a maximum tooth thickness position with respect to the gear thickness direction. A maximum force receiving position of the tooth where a force received by the driven gear from said driving gear is maximum when the photosensitive member is driven is different from the maximum tooth thickness position. The tooth thickness decreases from the maximum tooth thickness position toward the maximum force receiving position at a first degree and decreases from the maximum tooth thickness position away from the maximum force receiving position at a second degree, by the crowning. The first degree is larger than the second degree.
