摘要: A salad processing system including a container with a processing lid thereon includes a gear with a handle driven gear wheel and pinions to provide rotary drives on the bottom side of the lid. A basket couples with one of the drives to spin-dry produce material. Another drive cooperates with a container mountable on the lid to drive chopping and mixing tools. A port through the lid allows access to the mixing container. A passageway through the lid receives a cuttings container and provides a socket for stationary blade tools including a slicer and a grid of knives. A lever pivotally mounted to the lid with a slotted plunger block dices produce through the grid of knives.

摘要: A device for thawing frozen items in a container of liquid, the container having one or more sidewalls, the device including a housing, a motor disposed in the housing, a propeller coupled to the motor, and a fastener extending from the housing, the fastener detachably securable to the side wall of the container, the fastener oriented on the housing such that the propeller is positionable in the liquid when the fastener engages the side wall of the container. A controller can be operably connected to the motor, the controller including a thickness input, the controller programmed to determine an operational time period in response to the thickness input. The controller instructs the motor to rotate the propeller for the operational time period to help thaw the frozen item. A display can be operably connected to the controller. A method of thawing a frozen item is also disclosed.

摘要: A warming container 10 includes a mixing bowl and a heating cradle configured to receive the mixing bowl. The warming container 10 also includes a shell having an inner facing surface and which is coupled to a bottom edge of the heating cradle at a seat. The seat is configured to receive a base of the mixing bowl. A cavity is defined between the heating cradle and the shell and a conductive heating structure is disposed within the cavity. The conductive heating structure includes a plurality of conductive longitudinal flanges. A wire heating element is disposed about the plurality of conductive longitudinal flanges, wherein the wire heating element is disposed about the conductive heating structure in a sinusoidal configuration. The wire heating element is in thermal communication with the heating cradle via the conductive longitudinal flanges.

摘要: The present disclosure describes an automated blend in-cup apparatus and the related method of operation. The disclosure relates generally to the field of mixing consumable material. More specifically, the disclosure relates to a mixer that is automatically operable to lower a mixing blade into a cup or vessel that contains material to be blended/mixed. A shield is automatically lowered to at least partially isolate the cup. The apparatus further comprises a well with an inlet manifold and a drain and a fixed but removable cup-receiving holder. The shield can include a magnetic portion that is detected by a first sensor on the apparatus. A safety interlock prevents the actuation of the mixing blade in the event that the magnetic portion is not proximate to the first sensor. Overall, the apparatus is effective, fast, easy to operate, safe, and clean.

摘要: A sealing assembly includes a container and a sealing mechanism for the container. The container body has an out-turned lip provided at an open end that surrounds a perimeter thereof. The sealing mechanism includes a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion has a bearing surface supporting the underside of the out-turned lip. The second portion is fitted over the open end of the container and includes an abutment surface in abutment with the upperside of the out-turned lip. The second portion has a blending impeller for use in blending product within the container. The first and second portions are united to clamp the out-turned lip of the body between the first portion and the second portion and thereby seal product within the container.

The inner surface (24) of the tool cage (20) may have a triangular shape or a square shape about the longitudinal axis. A dimensionless characteristic value and a range for the value are defined for predicting quality of performance of the device.

The device aims to automate the folding action by providing a food mixing arrangement in which a tool having a wing-like volute blade is suspended by its shaft from a drive outlet of the stand mixer and executes a planetary motion within a mixing bowl. The blade is twisted along its length and has curved surfaces formed to gently lift and turn ingredients to be mixed in the bowl so as to simulate a gentle folding action similar to that achieved manually by an experienced cook.
