Abstract:
The invention relates to a stable bicarbonate ion-containing drug solution, particularly a bicarbonate-containing drug solution for dialysis in which the stability has been improved by the presence of a phosphate ion. Further, the invention relates to a drug solution for acute blood purification, particularly a dialysate and a substitution liquid for acute blood purification to be mixed before use containing the drug solution. Still further, the invention relates to a dialysate and a substitution liquid for acute blood purification to be mixed before use in which the formation of insoluble fine particles or precipitates is prevented for a long time after mixing and with which hypokalemeia and hypophosphatemia are not caused.
Abstract:
A well fluid additive system prepackaged to the specifications of each particular well. The system comprises a supporting member, and a plurality of additives which additive is each individually segregated from the other additives. This system reduces waste as the exact proportions are delivered to the well as needed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a kitchen device, namely a cooking vessel to be used with a cooking utensil. The cooking vessel is adapted to hold the utensil by the stem in order to suspend the cooking implement of the utensil above the container of the cooking vessel. More particularly, the cooking vessel comprises a container having a bottom surface, and a handle extending from the container. The handle has an opening for receiving the stem of the utensil, the opening having a predetermined shape for cooperating with the stem to temporarily hold the stem so that the cooking implement of the utensil hangs above the bottom surface of the container. There is also provided a cooking assembly comprising the cooking vessel and the utensil. There is also provided a handle to be joined to a cooking vessel, as well as a utensil to be used with the cooking vessel.
Abstract:
A condiment package for storing and supplying condiments comprising: a first packet, where the first packet stores a first condiment; a second packet, where the second packet stores a second condiment; a removable foil cover, where the cover seals the first packet and the second packet; and a removable divider, where the divider separates the first packet and the second packet. The removable foil and removable divider may be made of plastic. The first condiment or the second condiment may be selected from the group consisting of honey, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and soy sauce.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a packaging for a liquid, powdery or pasty product, comprising a first packaging part and a second packaging part which are connected to each other along a connecting area to define between them a hollow space to receive the product, wherein a channel is provided between the first packaging part and the second packaging part, which is to be opened by opening a sealing element to dispense the product from the packaging. The disclosure is characterized in that the sealing element is a sealed seam between the first packaging part and the second packaging part, which seals the channel, and that the sealed seam comprises inside the channel at least one portion which projects in a longitudinal direction of the channel. The disclosure also relates to a packaging machine for manufacturing such a packaging.
Abstract:
The fillable closure with a triggering pushbutton comprises a filler neck (3) that is to be screwed onto or joined to a container neck (4) as well as a closure cap (1) which is associated to the filler neck (3) and can be joined, pivoted and snapped-on the filler neck (3) by means of a hinge connection. A separately fillable container (2) can be inserted into the filler neck (3), the container being closed at the bottom with a sealing foil (19) that can be pierced or cut open. The closure cap (1) comprises a cap cover as a pusher disc (7), which can be pressed downward in the axial direction while deforming. By pressing the cap cover downward on the container (2) inserted in the filler neck or on a rigid opening element accommodated therein, the opening element can be pressed downward so that the sealing foil (19) of the container (2) can be pierced and cut open.
Abstract:
An improved mixing bottle comprised of at least two chambers, a top chamber and a bottom chamber. Said chambers may be separated from one another, on the outside, by a freshness seal and, on the inside, by a permeable membrane. The top chamber interior will contain a wide mouth funnel with a wide end and a narrow end. While the freshness seal is still in tact, the narrower end of the funnel may point towards the bottom chamber and be situated somewhere just above the permeable membrane.
Abstract:
A cap with a storage space for containing a secondary material includes a storage portion having a storage space and provided with a seal plate formed on a lower end of the storage space, an outer cap foldably formed on the storage portion and coupled to a spouting portion, a spouting member inserted in the spouting portion, and an operational member for breaking the seal plate when the spouting member is operation.
Abstract:
A container (10) for dispensing a liquid beverage concentrate is provided. The liquid beverage concentrate is formed of a first beverage component, disposed in a body (12), and a second beverage component, disposed within a cartridge (30) at least partially within the body, that are initially isolated. The first and second beverage components can be combined to form the liquid beverage concentrate by moving the cartridge, such as further into the body, to unblock a flow path (36) between the cartridge and the body.
Abstract:
The invention comprises a novel apparatus for delivering a nutritive substance comprising a container body having a base at one end, an upper portion adapted for removable receipt of a closure, the upper portion defining an opening therein, and a chamber defined by the container body, the chamber being in fluid communication with the opening. A laminate seal having at least two layers is bonded across the opening and is adapted to provide an airtight seal across the opening and prevent contact between said nutritive substance and the contents of said container until said seal is altered. The laminate seal comprises a first layer permanently bonded to a rim defining the opening in the upper portion and a second layer that is releasably coupled to the first layer. A nutritive substance is bonded to the first layer. The container additionally comprises a closure removably coupled to the upper portion.
