摘要: A method for manufacturing and filling a container. The method includes blow molding the container from a preform. The container is then hot filled and cooled. After cooling, the container is labeled. A top load force is applied to the container at least one of: before cooling the container; during cooling of the container; after cooling the container and before labeling the container; during labeling of the container; and after labeling the container in order to reverse any dents in the container formed during the method of manufacturing and filling.

摘要: Disclosed is a device for gas replacement capable of reducing the amount of replacement gas, improving a gas replacement rate, and reducing the amount of split liquid. In a replacement nozzle (11) which blows the replacement gas toward a container opening portion symmetrically about a center line in the container radial direction, the space between nozzle port outermost walls is divided with a plurality of wind direction adjustment plates (16a, 16b) to generate a plurality of blowout ports. The replacement gas flow blowing along the outermost walls of the nozzle opening are so blown inward as to form an angle of 100° to 130°. Moreover, the replacement gas is blown from the replacement nozzle to the range between the level lower than the end of the can opening by one third or more the height of the can neck portion and the level equal to or higher than the height of the can cover.

摘要: A filling system for filling a container with a pourable product, comprising: a tank configured to be filled with the pourable product; at least one filling device including a local control unit having a control module configured to selectively allow filling of the container with the pourable product; at least one duct interposed between the tank and the filling device; and at least one vortex flowmeter disposed along the duct and configured to generate a pulse-train detection signal as a function of a flow rate of the pourable product along the duct, wherein the local control unit of the filling device includes a processing module configured to process the detection signal from the at least one vortex flowmeter in order to determine an amount of the pourable product flowing into the container, as a function of a number of pulses of the detection signal.

摘要: An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.

摘要: A method for distributing product using a consumer refillable packaging in a retail environment comprises manufacturing a liquid product at a point of manufacture. The liquid product is then transferred to a retail location in a refillable canister, which is mounted in a storage room as part of a delivery subsystem for communicating the liquid product from the storage room to a refill station in a retail floor space. Consumers operate the refill station to refill a refillable container with the liquid product from the canister in the storage room via the refill station.

摘要: A method for operating a filling machine includes conducting purgative gas via a first controlled gas path from a first ring channel common to all filling elements to the interior of a container sealed against a filling element via a controllable choke arrangement that switches between choking state and non-choking states, draining the purgative gas out of the container's interior through return-gas openings and into return-gas channels of a second controlled gas path, the first and second return-gas channels being controlled by corresponding first and second control valves that are operable independently of each other, and pressure-filling the container with the liquid contents.

摘要: A container handling machine having at least one operative unit is disclosed. The container handling machine includes a plunger configured to selectively move along a longitudinal axis and to deform a base of a container from a first swollen configuration to a second inwardly-retracted configuration, and an actuator configured to selectively move the plunger along the longitudinal axis between a first position, in which the plunger is detached from the base of the container, and a second position, in which the plunger deforms the base to the second configuration. The container handling machine further includes a control unit configured to selectively activate the actuator for producing a first stroke of the plunger along the longitudinal axis between the first position and the second position, in order to deform the base of the container.

摘要: A conveyor and carriage assembly are synchronized to increase the speed of operation and eliminate any dwell periods to improve the rate at which a linear container filler is able to fill containers with a material. The fill rate approaches or exceeds that of prior art linear and rotary filling machines.
