    摘要: This invention relates to heat absorbing glass compositions exhibiting strain points in excess of 560.degree.C. and transmissions to visible radiations suitable for optical applications. Such glasses consist essentially of Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, Na.sub.2 O, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, SiO.sub.2, and P.sub.2 O.sub.5, wherein NH.sub.4 H.sub.2 PO.sub.4 constitutes an essential ingredient of the batch.
