摘要: A processing apparatus includes a powder material supply portion that supplies a powder material containing a first particle group consisting of a plurality of first particles, and a second particle group consisting of a plurality of second particles and having an average particle diameter larger than that of the first particle group, to a fiber-containing material containing a fiber during or after defibrating, and a powder material removing portion that removes at least a portion of the powder material from the fiber-containing material supplied with the powder material. It is preferable that the processing apparatus include a defibrating portion that defibrates the fiber-containing material on an upstream side of the powder material supply portion.

摘要: In a process for transforming waste material into useful material, a quantity of waste material such as household garbage or municipal solid waste is provided. The waste material is pre-shredded into pre-shredded waste material. The pre-shredded waste material is processed to at least partially remove one or more selected material components, thereby providing a processed pre-shredded waste material. The processed pre-shredded waste material is then secondarily shredded into secondarily shredded waste material which is then hydrolyzed under pressure greater than ambient pressure to create an aggregate cellulose pulp.

摘要: A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a defibrator configured to produce defibrated material, a feedstock supply unit, a monitoring device, and a cleaning device. The feedstock supply unit includes a conveyance device configured to convey feedstock, a storage device configured to accumulate the feedstock conveyed from the conveyance device and supply the feedstock to the defibrator, and a measuring device configured to measure a state of the feedstock accumulated on the storage device. The monitoring device is configured to predict stopping of conveyance of the feedstock by the feedstock supply unit and activate the cleaning device when a conveyance speed of the feedstock by the feedstock supply unit becomes slower than during normal operation. The cleaning device is configured to execute on at least one of the conveyance device and the storage device a cleaning process that preemptively prevents the stopping of conveyance.
