    摘要: A linkless ammunition feed system for a firearm. The ammunition feed system has an ammunition container with a path for holding a plurality ammunition rounds in a single file manner and an exit for passing the ammunition rounds out of the container. A pusher is positioned in and adapted to freely slide through the ammunition path, the plurality of ammunition rounds being positioned between the exit and the pusher, the pusher adapted to push the ammunition toward the exit. The pusher is pulled through the ammunition path by a feed line connected to the pusher and extending through the ammunition path. A rotatable feed line spool collects the feed line at the container exit, and a feed sprocket rotates to move an ammunition round from the container exit to a firearm associated with the ammunition feed system.

    摘要: An automatic machine pistol is provided, which is not subject to fouling, which is compact and light while incorporating a pneumatic recoil buffer, which resists muzzle climb, and which can be accessed and cleaned without disassembly. The machine pistol is comprised of a reciprocating bolt within a housing of the pistol. The reciprocating bolt is carried within the housing on four rails by eight roller bearings. No sliding contact is made between the bolt and any other portion of the pistol. A portion of the high pressure gas from the barrel is bled through a bleed hole in the barrel block or barrel into a gas port tube which is telescopically inserted into the bolt. The gas port tube delivers the portion of the discharge gas in a forward direction in opposition to the motion on recoil. An upwardly directed nozzle is communicated to the receiving bore within the bolt. The direction and force of the discharge gas within the gas port delivery tube and receiving bore within the bolt resist and buffers recoil, while the upwardly directed nozzle develops a downward thrust on the muzzle end of the pistol to avoid muzzle climb.

    摘要: A pistol has a frame, a barrel slidable on the frame and having a cartridge-receiving rear end, and a breech slidable on the frame and engageable over the rear end of the barrel to form a cartridge chamber. A standard slide carries the barrel and breech. A firing element and a firing pin operatively linked thereto are movable on the breech toward and away from the barrel between a rear position in which the firing pin is out of the cartridge chamber and a front position with the firing pin projecting forward into the cartridge chamber for firing a cartridge in the chamber when the firing element moves from the rear to the front position. A relatively strong firing spring braced against the firing element urges same into the front position and a relatively weak spring braced against the firing element urges same into the rear position. A trigger movable on the frame between an actuated and an unactuated position and an abutment engageable with the firing element and displaceable backward on the frame are linked together so as to displace the firing element back into the rear position on displacement of the trigger from the unactuated to the actuated position and to displace the abutment out of operative engagement with the firing element on displacement of the trigger into the actuated position for displacement of the firing element by the springs into the front position.
