    摘要: A fuel cell module includes a case body containing a cell stack body formed by stacking a plurality of power generation cells. The case body includes a plurality of connectors for mounting the fuel cell module into a fuel cell vehicle. The plurality of connectors include a first connector group used for mounting the fuel cell module into a first fuel cell vehicle in a manner that a stacking direction of the fuel cell module is substantially aligned with a first direction, and a second connector group used for mounting the fuel cell module into a second fuel cell vehicle in a manner that the stacking direction of the fuel cell module is substantially aligned with a second direction. Some connectors are common to both the first connector group and the second connector group.

    摘要: A fuel cell stack FS includes: a stack A that includes a single cells C that are stacked, each of the single cells including a frame 2 that holds an outer periphery of a membrane electrode assembly 1 and a pair of separators 3, 4 sandwiching the membrane electrode assembly 1 and the frame 2; and a case 50 that houses the stack A. The frame 2 comprises a protrusion 11 that protrudes outward from an outer periphery of a frame body 2A beyond an outer peripheral edge of the pair of separators 3, 4. A protrusion length of the protrusion 11 is greater than at least a gap between the frame 2 and one of the pair of separators 3, 4, and the protrusion 11 is bendable with respect to the frame body 2A. The protrusions prevent a contact between the separators 3, 4 of the single cell C and a contact between the end faces of the separators 3, 4 and the case 50 so as to prevent a short circuit of the single cell C.

    摘要: An end plate of a fuel cell stack includes a metal plate body and a resin cover. The plate body includes a main portion, through holes extending through the main portion, and a flange portion including a fastening surface fastened to a flange of a case. The main portion includes a peripheral surface including a peripheral recess and an inner end surface that projects toward the inner side from the fastening surface. The cover includes an inner portion, a peripheral portion that covers the peripheral surface of the main portion, and an opposing portion that covers an inner end surface of the flange portion and opposes the flange of the case. The peripheral portion includes a peripheral projection that fills the peripheral recess and restricts contraction of the peripheral portion toward the inner side.

    摘要: In a fuel cell stack, a stack body includes a plurality of power generation cells stacked in a stacking direction, and a first dummy cell is provided at one end of the stack body in the stacking direction. The first dummy cell includes a dummy assembly, a dummy resin frame member, and a dummy joint separator. The dummy resin member includes a first resin sheet and a second resin sheet. An inner exposed portion is provided in an inner periphery of the first resin sheet. The inner exposed portion extends inward beyond an inner end of the second resin sheet. A first heat welding portion is provided discontinuously in a stack part where the inner exposed portion and the first electrically conductive porous sheet of the dummy assembly are stacked together. The dummy resin frame member and the dummy assembly are joined together by the first heat welding portion.

A top sealing member has a substantially rectangular frame shape and disposed between the top cover plate and each of the first end plate, the second end plate, the first side plate and the second side plate. A bottom sealing member has a substantially rectangular frame shape and disposed between the bottom cover plate and each of the first end plate, the second end plate, the first side plate and the second side plate. At least one of the top sealing member and the bottom sealing member including, at at least one corner of the substantially rectangular frame shape, an extension portion to adjust a peripheral length of the substantially rectangular frame shape.
