摘要: A refrigeration system includes a heat exchanger including a gas cooler or condenser. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger inlet and a heat exchanger outlet. The refrigeration system further includes an evaporator including an evaporator inlet and an evaporator outlet. The refrigeration system further includes a compressor including a compressor inlet fluidly coupled to the evaporator outlet and a compressor outlet fluidly coupled to the heat exchanger inlet. The refrigeration system further includes a pressure exchanger (PX) including a first PX inlet fluidly coupled to the heat exchanger outlet, a first PX outlet fluidly coupled to the heat exchanger inlet, a second PX inlet fluidly coupled to the evaporator outlet, and a second PX outlet fluidly coupled to the evaporator inlet.

摘要: Provided is a air purge device that can effectively discharge air. The air purge device includes: an air purge pipe (71) connected to a condenser (12) and configured to extract a mixed gas containing a refrigerant gas and air from the condenser (12); a separation film (23b) provided to the air purge pipe (71) and configured to separate, by a pressure difference, air from the mixed gas extracted by the air purge pipe (71); an exhaust pipe (81) configured to externally guide a gas containing air separated by the separation film (23b); a first valve (24) provided to the exhaust pipe (81); a vacuum pump (27) provided downstream of the first valve (24) in the exhaust pipe (81) and configured to externally discharge a gas present inside the exhaust pipe (81); and a control unit (50), and the control unit (50) activates the vacuum pump (27), opens the first valve (24), and then closes the first valve (24) to stop permeation of air caused by a pressure difference when detecting that a predetermined amount of air has permeated the separation film (23b).

摘要: A thermal management system includes a closed-circuit refrigeration system that includes a vapor cycle system (VCS) and a liquid pumping system (LPS). The VCS includes a receiver that stores a refrigerant fluid and a liquid separator. The vapor cycle system is configured to operate in one or more operational modes including at least one of a TES cooling mode, a heat load cooling mode, or a pump-down mode. The LPS includes a thermal energy storage (TES) that stores a phase change material (PCM) and a pump fluidly coupled to at least one evaporator. The evaporator is configured to extract heat from a heat load that is in thermal conductive or convective contact to the evaporator to transfer heat to the refrigerant fluid and provide the refrigerant fluid from an evaporator outlet to the TES.
