Abstract: A device for a lacquer transfer includes a frame, transfer roller with a circumferential lateral wall, drive unit for rotating the transfer roller, and slit nozzle with a muzzle end for dispensing lacquer. The slit nozzle includes a first nozzle-part, second nozzle-part and deformation unit. The deformation unit is attached to the first nozzle-part, the lateral wall passing in a rotation direction subsequently the deformation unit and the muzzle end during transfer unit rotation. The lateral wall of the transfer roller is deformed by the deformation unit in the radial direction resulting in a deformation section of the lateral wall in the rotation direction behind the deformation unit, the muzzle end of the slit nozzle arranged for dispensing lacquer into depressions of the lateral wall. The transfer roller can roll with the outside contact surface on a work surface of a work piece for transferring lacquer from the depressions to the work surface of the work piece.

Abstract: A nacelle includes a fixed structure supporting a fixed cowl and a movable cowl, the movable cowl being movable translationally between a closing position and an opening position. A blocker door is movably mounted rotationally on the nacelle between a closed position and an open position. The nacelle includes a drive mechanism of the blocker door and of the movable cowl between the closed/closing position and the open/opening position of the blocker door/movable cowl, respectively, and vice versa, the drive mechanism includes at least one actuator fixed, to the fixed structure of the nacelle and, to a fitting fixed to the movable cowl. The drive mechanism includes, for each actuator, a flexible member having a first end fixed to the fixed structure of the nacelle and a second end fixed to the fitting.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a door for closing an opening in a structure, including: a body arranged to be capable of abutting against a first side of the opening; at least one clamping member configured to be capable of abutting against an opposite second side of the opening; and a fastener arranged to fasten or release the clamping member relative to the body. The clamping member is moveable relative to the body between a first position where the clamping member abuts against the second side of the opening so as to clamp the structure between the body and the clamping member and a second position where the clamping member allows the door to be opened. The present invention further relates to an aircraft including the above door.

Abstract: A method to identify the proximity of a wake turbulence and to generate a report relative to that proximity. A method implemented by an aircraft comprising a processor makes it possible to identify the proximity of a wake turbulence and to generate a report relative to that proximity. The method includes a data acquisition step during which the processor retrieves and records the data relative to each generating aircraft present around the aircraft. In a position estimation step, the processor estimates the position of the wake turbulences generated by each generating aircraft. In a proximity step, the processor determines if the aircraft is close to at least one of the wake turbulences. In a generation step, the processor generates a report containing the data relative to each wake turbulence. The method makes it possible to identify the proximity of a wake turbulence in the vicinity of the aircraft and to automatically record the data relative to that wake turbulence.

Abstract: A nacelle has a fixed cowl and a mobile cowl, which is movable along a translation path between closed and open positions, a window delimited by the fixed cowl and the mobile cowl and open between an airflow and exterior of the nacelle, a reverser flap rotatably mounted to move between closed and open positions, and a drive mechanism configured to control passage of the reverser flap between the closed and open positions as the mobile cowl moves between the closed and open positions. From the closed positions, the drive mechanism assures a translation of the mobile cowl and a rotation of the reverser flap toward their respective open positions. From the open positions, the drive mechanism assures a rotation of the reverser flap and a translation of the mobile cowl toward the closed position. In some embodiments, the nacelle further includes an additional, or second, flap.

Abstract: A system for monitoring scheduled turnaround activities and alerting on time deviation from the scheduled turnaround activities is disclosed. The system includes a ground computing station system, an aircraft on-board system, a cloud, and user interface. The cloud is communicatively coupled to the ground station computing system and the aircraft on-board system. The cloud includes processor and memory. The memory includes an analytics module to obtain actual start and end time stamps associated with scheduled turnaround activities, from touchdown to takeoff of an aircraft, from aircraft on-board systems and a ground station system. The analytics module to determine time deviation of scheduled turnaround activities by analyzing the obtained actual start and end time stamps. The user interface to present each scheduled turnaround activity and determined time deviation of the scheduled turnaround activities.

Abstract: A ground-based server is configured for identifying encounters of aircraft with wake turbulences generated by at least one other generating aircraft. Abstract: An aircraft nacelle air intake structure including an air intake lip with a U-shaped section to ensure air is shared between an inner face and an outer face. An acoustic panel is on the intake lip rear on the side of the inner face level with a first assembly point. An outer panel is on the intake lip rear on the side of the outer face level with a second assembly point. A front reinforcing frame on the intake lip inside is fixed to the air intake lip on the side of the inner face level with a first fixing point and on the side of the outer face level with a second fixing point. The length of the chord between the stop point and each fixing point is between ⅓ and ⅙ of the total chord between the stop point and the assembly point.
