    Abstract: Secure communication for autonomous vehicles can be increased by performing authentication operations before nodes, such as vehicles, roadside equipment (RSE), or base stations, are within communications range. A digital certificate management system for mobile nodes, including for moving vehicles, can facilitate ultra fast communications between vehicles and other nodes. The RSE can propagate vehicle node data, comprising direction, speed, or estimated time of arrival, to other vehicles and/or other RSEs. Consequently, this propagation of data prior to the communication between nodes can facilitate an efficient authentication system.

    Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a processing system determining a first communication device initiating a communication session with a second communication device, and transmitting a notification to the second communication device. The notification indicates to the second communication device to initiate a location verification application on the second communication device, and the location verification application transmits notifications to adjacent network devices. Each notification indicates to an adjacent network device to provide its location to the processing system. Further embodiments include receiving locations from the adjacent network devices, and identifying a first location associated with the second communication device. Additional embodiments include determining that the first location is in proximity to the locations, and establishing the communication session between the first communication device and the second communication device. In one alternative, estimated peak resource usage data of a radio unit over an operation interval is used to select a baseband unit, generally based on which baseband unit of the pool has the least remaining resource capacity, to which the radio unit is mapped for the operation interval. In another alterative, estimated peak resource usage data resource (usage and duration) of a user equipment session is used to dynamically map the user equipment session to a baseband unit, generally selected by which baseband unit of the pool has the least remaining resource capacity.

    Abstract: Adjusting a network path between a user equipment and a network edge cloud instance is disclosed. The adjustment of the network path can be based on performance of the network path. The performance of the network path can be ranked, based on performance, against other network paths.
