摘要: A network system for providing long haul network connection between endpoint devices is disclosed. The network system includes a first and a second endpoint devices, a first and a second exchange servers, a first access point server coupled between the first endpoint device and the first exchange server, a second access point server coupled between the second endpoint device and the second exchange server, a first storage node coupled between the first exchange server and the second exchange server, and a second storage node coupled between the first exchange server and the second exchange server. The first exchange server is configured to convert first packetized traffic into a carrier file and write the carrier file to the second storage node. The second exchange server is configured to read the carrier file from the second storage node and convert the carrier file into second packetized traffic.

摘要: This disclosure describes a cloud exchange that offers dynamic network connectivity and performance-based recommendation services for application workloads. For example, a cloud exchange comprises a network configured with respective network connections to at least one of a plurality of cloud service providers (CSPs), wherein an application workload is deployed to a first CSP according to a first application workload deployment scenario, wherein the application workload is for a customer of the first CSP; and a programmable network platform configured to: receive telemetry information of the network for the network connections; determine, based on the telemetry information, whether the application workload meets a performance objective; and in response to determining that the application workload does not meet the performance objective, send, to the customer, a recommendation for a second application workload deployment scenario that includes a deployment template to configure a second CSP with the second application workload deployment scenario.

摘要: Responsive to a request to access heterogeneous repositories, a REST server queries a resource registry to find resources that match mapping information contained in the request. The resource registry returns resource registry tables containing the matching resources. The resource registry tables implement a unified data structure of a resource registry model and are generated at runtime by the resource registry mapping REST service configuration parameters to the fields of the unified data structure. The REST service configuration parameters are added to an extension SDK for REST extension developers to enhance REST service configuration for extension applications. The REST service configuration parameters are configured at implementation time and loaded/scanned into the REST server at runtime. The REST server iteratively evaluates the resource registry tables until all the matching resources have been evaluated. The evaluation result is used to determine whether to reject, accept, or redirect the request from the client device.

摘要: Systems and methods for providing data beacons are disclosed. In some embodiments the system can include a first node and a second node. Each node includes a read queue, a write queue and a parallel file system. Data is written from the write queue on the first node to the parallel file system on the second node and from the write queue on the second node to the parallel file system on the first node. The read queue on each node receives data from the parallel file system on the node itself.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to utilizing a content service system to improve selecting data sources that are used to retrieve digital content items in response to content requests. For example, in response to receiving a content request, the content service system determines to retrieve content items by either calling a lower-quality data source with lower computing costs based on the request having lower service quality metrics or by calling a higher-quality data source with higher computing-costs based on the request having superior service quality metrics. In many instances, the service quality metric is based on the user characteristics of a user identifier associated with the requesting device. By dynamically determining to utilize different data sources having different computing costs based on service quality metrics, the content service system significantly reduces the total amount of computing costs for retrieving and providing digital content, without hurting the user experience.
