摘要： An electrical connector (100) adapted for electrically connecting a chip module to a printed circuit board, includes an insulative housing (30) having a plurality of terminals received therein and a fastening device (90). The fastening device (90) comprises a stiffener (50) surrounding the insulative housing (30), a load plate (60) pivotally assembled to an end of the stiffener (50), and a knob (70) assembled on an opposed end of the stiffener (50) for locking the load plate (60). The knob (70) has a stem (702) rotationally provided with a guiding slot (704) helically defined along the stem (702) such that the tongue (610) of the load plate (60) engaged with the guiding slot (704) can be moved up and down when the knob (70) is rotated clockwise and counterclockwise.

摘要： One-step screws (30) and hollow mating limiters (40) are provided for fastening a stiffener (20) of a land grid array (LGA) socket connector (1) on a circuit board. The one-step screws having a shoulder portion (301) between a top portion (302) and the thread portion (303). Each of hollow mating limiters (40) has a lead-in surface (401) on a one end of inner surface of the limiter (40). Because the smallest diameter of the limiter (40) is substantially equal to the one of the shoulder portion (301), the one-step screws (30) are able to be effectively limited within a specific range so as to avoid the possibility of losing screws during moving socket connectors.

摘要： An electrical connection system for an optoelectronic socket comprises an optoelectronic socket (1), an OE package (2) assembled to the optoelectronic socket (1), and a circuit board (4). The optoelectronic socket (1) comprises a plurality of passageways (104) embedded with an optical member (12) respectively, and a number of electrical contacts. The OE package (2) comprises a plurality of lenses (20) located at bottom portion thereof and a plurality of electrical pads (22) located at peripheral of the bottom portion. Bottom end of the lens (20) of the OE package (2) are received in the passageway (104) and the electrical pads (22) contact with the electrical contacts (14). The optical member (12) is received in recess on upper face of the circuit board (4) and connects with a waveguide (40) positioned in the recess. The electrical contact is soldered to the circuit board.

摘要： A double-deck connector assembly comprises an unitary insulating housing defining upper and lower connection ports slightly offset from each other in a front-to-back direction thereof for respectively receiving upper and lower modules therein. The upper connection port has a pair of holding arms extending from two opposite ends thereof. The lower connection port has a pair of lower latching arms extending from two opposite ends thereof. The lower latching arms extend in a same direction with the holding arms and each has a sliding slot at an outside thereof. The sliding slots can match with the holding arms to assemble the upper and lower connection ports together.
