    Abstract: Systems and methods of selecting content items for an online ad campaign in a computerized network environment are described herein. The system can receive, from a first content provider, an event call. The event call can include an identifier and an action type. The system can receive, from a client device, a request for content, the client device associated with the identifier. The system can determine a similarity between the action type and a relevance keyword. The relevance keyword can be by a second content provider. The system can generate a bid value factor for a content item of the second content provider and a bid value factor based on the semantic similarity. The system can determine a bid value for the content item of the second content provider based on the bid value factor. The system can select, for transmission to the client computing device, the content item.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus related to providing user-guided term suggestions. Some implementations may be directed to identifying user input that includes at least one term and identifying a user-initiated activity near the term. An edit term may be identified based on the user-initiated activity near the term, an edit position in the edit term may be identified, and one or more candidate terms may be identified based on the edit term. Similarity measures for the candidate terms may be determined. The similarity measure of a given candidate term of the candidate terms may be based on the edit position. One or more of the candidate terms may be selected as suggested terms based on the similarity measures and the selected suggested terms provided for potential replacement of the edit term.

    Abstract: This document describes techniques and devices for radar-based object detection for vehicles. A radar-based object detection component implemented in a vehicle is configured to detect characteristics of persons within the vehicle, such as a driver or other passengers. Based on the detected characteristics, an activity of the person can be determined and various operations can be initiated based on the activity, such as initiating a warning when the driver is not paying attention to driving or automatically slowing down the vehicle. In some cases, the radar-based object detection component can also be implemented to detect characteristics of objects positioned external to the vehicle, such as pedestrians, other vehicles, or objects in the road. The radar-based object detection component may also be implemented to authenticate a driver of the vehicle, such as by detecting biometric characteristics of the driver or recognizing a series of gestures corresponding to an authentication sequence.

The system can receive a request for content to be rendered in a content slot on a computing device. The content slot can be coded with a default timer value. The system can execute a real-time content selection process to identify content items that each have a magnitude. The system can determine a timer value based on the magnitudes, and transmit the timer value to the computing device to override the default timer value to cause the computing device to replace a first content item rendered in the content slot upon expiration of the timer.

    Abstract: A document collaboration system allows applications to collaborate on a binary data file even if the binary data file is not in a collaborative document format. In response to a request from an application to access a binary data file, the document collaboration system gives the application access to a document model corresponding to the binary data file and the application. If the document model does not already exist, it may be created by generating an empty document model, transmitting the binary data file to the application, and allowing the application to fill in the empty document model based on the binary data file. The document model may be provided to and modified by its related application through an application programming interface (API), and changes to the document model may be applied to the binary data file.
