摘要: A troffer light fixture has a housing with a LED assembly positioned in the housing. The LED assembly includes at least one LED array comprising LEDs of at least two different colors. The LED assembly includes a first LED array having a first LED on a first string and a second LED on a second string and a second LED array having a third LED on a third string and fourth LED on a fourth string. A wide lens covers the LED array. A reflector assembly has a first reflective surface and a second reflective surface reflecting light from the at least one LED array laterally across the width of the wide lens. Alternatively, the LED array may be approximately one-half the width of the wide lens and the reflector may be eliminated.

摘要: The present invention relates to different embodiments of lighting fixtures, such as high bay lighting fixtures, comprising one or more improved features. Some of these features include the direct mounting of emitters on a heat sink and/or the use of a template-like board for providing an electrical connection between emitters. These features can improve heat dissipation from the emitters and simplify fabrication. In other embodiments, expensive lens optics of prior art SSL fixtures can be replaced with a flat lens and reflector in order to produce a fixture having a satisfactory spacing criterion.

摘要: An edge lit fixture. A light engine comprises a compartment and at least one elongated lens that are attachable to a mount plate. The mount plate, an exterior surface of the compartment, and the lens define an internal optical cavity. A light strip is mounted to the mount plate within the optical cavity. One or more legs can be used to attach the fixture to an external surface, such as a ceiling T-grid. The light engine can be used with legs of varying size such that it can fit within ceiling openings having different dimensions. The assembled fixture defines an open area. One or more light engines are arranged around or through the open area such that light is emitted into the open area. The open area of the fixture allows for existing materials, such as a ceiling tile, for example, to function as a back side reflector panel.

摘要: A method includes the steps of obtaining distance measurements between a device and a number of lighting fixtures, processing the distance measurements to assign coordinates to each one of the lighting fixtures, and facilitating registration of the coordinates of a subset of the lighting fixtures to obtain registered coordinates for all of the lighting fixtures. The coordinates indicate a relative location of each one of the lighting fixtures with respect to one another. The registered coordinates indicate a location of each lighting fixture in a desired coordinate space. Accordingly, a location of a lighting fixture within a desired coordinate space can be easily obtained, which may enable significant additional functionality of the lighting fixture.

摘要: A single solid state luminaire product is field-configurable to a plurality of discrete coordinated color temperature (CCT) and/or maximum luminosity settings. A field-actuated control circuit may control a current ratio control circuit, which directs drive current from a power supply to selected ones, or in selected ratios to multiple ones, of heterogeneous LED strings. Additionally or alternatively the control circuit may control the power supply, to select an overall maximum level of drive current, which determines the maximum luminosity of the luminaire. Inputs for CCT and/or maximum luminosity are input to the field-actuated control circuit prior to the luminaire being removed from its product packaging. Embodiments allow a distributor to order and stock a large inventory of substantially identical luminaires from the manufacturer, yet still offer customers a variety of different CCT and/or maximum luminosity products.

The second housing assembly is not in thermally conductive contact with the first housing assembly, such that thermal energy from the first housing assembly does not directly transfer to the second housing assembly.

摘要: An indirect troffer. Embodiments of the present invention provide a troffer-style fixture that is particularly well-suited for use with solid state light sources, such as LEDs. The troffer comprises light bars mounted proximate to a back reflector. A back reflector defines a reflective interior surface of the lighting troffer. To facilitate thermal dissipation, the light bar can act as a heat sink. A portion of the heat sink is exposed to the ambient room environment while another portion functions as a mount surface for the light sources that faces the back reflector. One or more light sources disposed along the light bar mount surface emit light into an interior cavity where it can be mixed and/or shaped prior to emission. In some embodiments, one or more lens plates extend from the light bar out to the back reflector.

摘要: A lens for distribution of light from a light emitter having an emitter axis. The lens comprising an inner surface and an output surface with faceted and smooth outer regions. At least one of the faceted outer regions is formed by a plurality of pairs of transverse outer regions extending in direction of a plane of bilateral symmetry of the lens. The inner surface defines an inner cavity about the emitter axis and has inner-surface stepwise discontinuities formed by a plurality of pairs of transverse inner regions with intersection regions therebetween. The lens may also have at least two secondary surface portions spaced apart and extending along two sides of the inner surface, the secondary surface portions being configured for total internal reflection (TIR) of light received from the inner surface.
