Abstract:
Methods and systems are described for receiving a parameter relating to a specific patient and for configuring a stent with a flow occlusion portion in response to receiving the parameter relating to the specific patient.
Abstract:
Avatars, methods, apparatuses, computer program products, devices and systems are described that carry out identifying a member of a population cohort; and inducing at least one behavior in the member of the population cohort based on an association between the population cohort and at least one cohort-linked avatar.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments provide a verification technique that facilitates administration of a health-related procedure to an intended recipient patient or group of patients. An interface template or signal protocol may be configured to establish suitable matching between the patient and various types of objects used to administer the health-related procedure. In some embodiments real-time monitoring data regarding administration of a health-related procedure to a recipient patient is posted to a patient data record that has restricted read/write access. In some instances the monitoring data is processed to determine compliance or non-compliance based on comparison of the health-related procedure with a predetermined benchmark standard.
Abstract:
A computationally implemented method includes, but is not limited to: acquiring a first data indicating at least one reported event as originally reported by a user and a second data indicating at least a second reported event as originally reported by one or more sensing devices; and developing a hypothesis based, at least in part, on the first data and the second data. In addition to the foregoing, other method aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.
Abstract:
Embodiments include an apparatus, device, system, computer-program product, and method. In an embodiment, a method is provided. The method includes generating a content signal indicative of a hand-formed mark on a surface. The method also includes generating a label signal indicative of a machine-distinguishable tag associated with the hand-formed mark. The machine-distinguishable tag being selected from at least two machine-distinguishable tags. The method further includes distributing a representation of the hand-formed mark to a data recipient in response to the machine-distinguishable tag.
Abstract:
An apparatus, methods and computer program product, and system are described that enable a first subset of actuatable cushioning elements for a first time period, enable a second subset of actuatable cushioning elements for a second time period, determine an event, and actuate, based on a time the event is determined, at least one of the first and the second subsets of actuatable cushioning elements to provide cushioning support for an object. Other example embodiments are also provided relating to actuatable cushioning elements.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are described relating to accepting user input relating to a plurality of health service option selection factors; presenting a plurality of choices for at least one of the health service option selection factors; and presenting at least one outcome output based on a selection of at least one of the plurality of choices for at least one of the health service option selection factors.
Abstract:
A system, method, computer program product, and carrier are described for causing one or more destination-dependent criteria to be applied at least to a data object and indicating a decision whether to transmit the data object to a destination partly based on a default value and partly based on one or more results of the one or more destination-dependent criteria being applied at least to the data object.
Abstract:
A communication system includes logic to detect a second communication device in proximity to a first communication device engaged in a call, logic to provide substantially uninterrupted transfer of the call to the second communication device, and logic to transfer in a substantially uninterrupted fashion at least a portion of the call to the second communication device back to the first communication device upon indications that a user of the second communication device has shifted back to using the first communication device.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to methods and systems that may be used for detection of one or more pathogens and determining one or more agents in response to pathogen detection.
