Abstract:
A register renaming system for out-of-order execution of a set of reduced instruction set computer instructions having addressable source and destination register fields, adapted for use in a computer having an instruction execution unit with a register file accessed by read address ports and for storing instruction operands. A data dependence check circuit is included for determining data dependencies between the instructions. A tag assignment circuit generates one of more tags to specify the location of operands, based on the data dependencies determined by the data dependence check circuit. A set of register file port multiplexers select the tags generated by the tag assignment circuit and pass the tags onto the read address ports of the register file for storing execution results.
Abstract:
Flexographic printing members amenable to aqueous (or organic) development do not exhibit the deleterious effects on printing performance characteristic of some conventional alternatives. Embodiments of the invention utilize a photopolymerizable layer comprising, consisting of, or consisting essentially of a photopolymerization initiator and a water-dilutable (but not water-soluble) monomer.
Abstract:
A sprinkler valve box has a housing, the housing having a base and sidewalls with a sealable lid thereon. The sidewalls may have one or more connecting ports therethrough. The housing has one or more pre-configured valves therein. The valves may be coupled to the one or more connecting ports in the sidewalls. The sidewalls are ideally corrugated for added strength and the lid seats over the sidewalls of the valve box, which may be lockable. The sprinkler valve box may also have a battery and a control unit, wherein the control unit is powered by the battery and controls the valves of the manifold. The control unit may be controlled wirelessly by a user.

Abstract:
Negative-working, radiation-sensitive printing plates include or consist of a hydrophilic first layer or substrate and, thereover, an oleophilic imaging layer that includes an iodonium borate free-radical initiators in accordance herewith have the structure where X and Y are alkoxy, p and q range independently from 0 to 5, and p+q≤5; or p and q may range independently from 0 to 4, with p+q≤4.
Abstract:
Following cutting of a develop-on-press printing member, a treatment fluid having a pH greater than 6 is applied to one or both edges prior to its development and use in order to avoid ink lines during printing.
Abstract:
In ablation-type printing plates involving silicone acrylate top layers, curing at high oxygen levels not only substantially reduces or eliminates toning, but does not adversely affect plate durability or printing performance.
Abstract:
This invention aims to capture and teach the high-level concept of combining doses of medications in unconventionally substandard amounts, for the treatment of medical. pathologies. By combining multiple medications each of which is aimed at treating the same disease process and each in a given substandard dosage, it should allow for greater comprehensive efficacy while simultaneously bypassing side-effects, clinically significant medication interactions; and other potentially unforeseen deleterious effects, all because the dosage is small enough and collaborative chemical diversity manifests favorable kinetic dynamics, thereby mitigating unwanted drug effects.
