摘要： An image carrier is adapted to support a toner image thereon. A circulating intermediate transfer member is brought into contact with the image carrier to form a primary transfer position at which the toner image is transferred onto the intermediate transfer member. A secondary transfer member is brought into contact with the intermediate transfer member to form a secondary transfer position at which the toner image on the intermediate transfer member is transferred onto a recording medium passing therebetween. A gate roller pair is adapted to nip the recording medium therebetween at a nipping position and to convey the nipped recording medium toward the secondary transfer position. A cleaning blade is retractably brought into contact with the intermediate transfer roller to scrape off toner remaining on the intermediate transfer roller. A conveyance speed of the recording medium at the nipping position is faster than that at the secondary transfer position. The cleaning blade is retracted from the intermediate transfer member until when a trailing end of the recording medium passes through the nipping position, in a case where the recording medium has a stiffness greater than a prescribed level.

摘要： The present invention provides an inkjet recording device for forming an image on a recording medium with an inkjet recording head. The inkjet recording device is provided with a conveyance section and a switchback section. One face of the recording medium is adhered to the conveyance section and the conveyance section transports the recording medium to the inkjet recording head. An image is formed on the other face of the recording medium, and the recording medium is transferred to the switchback section from the conveyance section, with the one face of the recording medium being adhered to the switchback section. The switchback section feeds the recording medium back to the conveyance section such that the other face of the recording medium can be adhered to the conveyance section.

摘要： Power transmission members which transmit rotational drive force from a drive source such as a motor, to an intermediate transfer drum is elastically deformed due to a load change which is generated as a cleaning part contacts and moves away from the intermediate transfer drum. Registration control amounts (Ra, Rb and Rc) attributed to the elastic deformation are obtained in advance. Transfer start positions for toner images in at least one or more toner colors out of four toner colors are corrected based on the registration control amounts (Ra, Rb and Rc), whereby registration deviations are suppressed to minimum and a high-quality color image is obtained.

Alternatively, one of the signal voltages is supplied to a signal electrode in one portion of one output period, and another one of the signal voltages is supplied to the signal electrode in another portion of the output period. The length ratio of the two portions of one output period is appropriately determined according to a digital video signal, whereby an arbitrary voltage corresponding to the video signal data can be applied to the pixel.

摘要： In a synchronizing signal selection circuit, in response to the input of a vertical synchronizing signal extracted from a composite synchronizing signal, a control signal is generated. The control signal is in a predetermined state during a period which begins when a first predetermined time period has elapsed after the input of the vertical synchronizing signal, and which terminates when a second predetermined time period has elapsed after the input of the vertical synchronizing signal. The composite synchronizing signal is output when the control signal is in the predetermined state, and a horizontal synchronizing signal separated the composite synchronizing signal is output when the control signal is in a state other than the predetermined state.
