Abstract:
Against this backdrop systems and methods have been developed for identifying popular segments of media objects. A remix system is provided to users allowing the easy remixing of a library of media objects. The remixes created by the users are recorded. From this information, the relative popularity of the segments and media objects in the library are identified based on how often they appear in the user-generated remixes. Actions may then be automatically taken related to the popularity of segments and media objects such as changing payment terms, alerting users of the popular content, and notifying interested parties of the popular or unpopular content.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method for management of voicemail messages, performed at a portable electronic device with a touch screen display, includes: displaying a list of voicemail messages; detecting selection by a user of a respective voicemail message in the list; responding to the user selection of the respective voicemail message by initiating playback of the user-selected voicemail message; displaying a progress bar for the user-selected voicemail message, wherein the progress bar indicates the portion of the user-selected voicemail message that has been played; detecting movement of a finger of the user from a first position on the progress bar to a second position on the progress bar; and responding to the detection of the finger movement by restarting playback of the user-selected voicemail message at a position within the user-selected voicemail message corresponding substantially to the second position on the progress bar.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a compound of Formula (I) or a salt thereof; and therapeutic uses of these compounds. The present invention further provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds, and compositions comprising these compounds with a therapeutic co-agent.
Abstract:
A dialysis system includes a dialysis machine including at least one fluid pump, and an autoconnection mechanism including a moveable holder; a plurality of pierceable connectors each held by the moveable holder of the autoconnection mechanism, each of the pierceable connectors in fluid communication with a source of medical fluid; a plurality of spikes each held fixed by the dialysis machine, each of the spikes in fluid communication with a disposable component that is positioned and arranged to operate with the at least one fluid pump; and wherein the moveable holder is moved automatically by the autoconnection mechanism, so that (i) the spikes pierce the pierceable connectors and (ii) the sources of medical fluid can communicate with the disposable component positioned and arranged to operate with the at least one fluid pump.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes instructions for: displaying a text entry interface area at a first size for the text entry interface area; concurrently displaying a viewing area adjacent to the text entry interface area, at a first size for the viewing area; detecting a continuous finger contact that starts in the viewing area, moves in a first direction towards the text entry interface area, contacts a predefined boundary associated with the text entry interface area, and continues to move in the first direction after contacting the predefined boundary; and, in response to detecting the continuous finger contact continuing to move in the first direction after contacting the predefined boundary: increasing the viewing area to a second size of the viewing area; and scrolling the text entry interface area to reduce the displayed text entry interface area to a second size of the text entry interface area.
Abstract:
A bike tow device that attaches to a bicycle to allow it to tow one or more other bicycles or carry one or more bicycle tires. In some versions the device can be installed on the towing bike without tools and a towed bike can be attached to the bike tow device without tools. A version includes an adjustable support to easily adapt the device to be used to tow bikes of varying dimensions. Another version includes a skirt within the guide to gently secure the towed bike to the device.
Abstract:
A device useful in treating decreased laryngeal elevation and for muscle re-education and rehabilitation is provided. The device is suitable for transmitting an electrical stimulus and can comprise a series of electrically conductive fibers oriented at an angle such that the fibers are parallel to muscle fibers of the laryngeal elevated musculature in the submandibular region of a patient.
Abstract:
A safety restraint system for a flow line for pressurized liquids, comprising a plurality of axially spaced flow line wraps each having end loops that are releasably connected to an anchor line, the anchor line being further attached at each of its two ends to a relatively immobile anchor structure, and each flow line wrap being removable from the flow line and from the anchor line without detaching either end of the anchor line from its respective anchor structure.
Abstract:
A device includes a support, a first slide element slidably mounted on the support and shiftable in a first direction from a retracted position to an extended position relative to the support, and a flexible member having first and second ends and a central portion. The first end is attached to the first slide element, the second end is fixedly mounted to the support, and the central portion projects away from the first and second ends in the second direction. The second end remains fixed to the support and the first end moves with the first slide element when the first slide element is shifted from the retracted position to the extended position.
