Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a spectacles and ornament assembly. The assembly comprises spectacles including a spectacle frame having a bridge connecting a pair of lens frames to each other, and a pair of temple arms connected to the spectacle frame, and at least one ornament selected from among a variety of ornaments having different shapes, designs, colors, and materials. Also, a plurality of magnets are provided at corresponding positions of the spectacle frame or each hinge and the ornament to detachably attach the ornament to the spectacle frame or each hinge, so as to achieve a variety of spectacle configurations in accordance with the wearer's different tastes.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an interchangeable spectacles and clip-on assembly. The interchangeable spectacles and clip-on assembly comprises a spectacle unit including a pair of prescription lenses, a frame unit configured to be detachably attached to the spectacle unit and adapted to serve as a framework constituting spectacles, and a clip-on including a pair of sunshade lenses and adapted to be detachably attached to the spectacles consisting of the spectacle unit and frame unit, to selectively serve as sunglasses. The frame unit includes a pair of U-shaped or inverted U-shaped lens frames having an open upper or lower end and intended so as not to receive lenses, and a frame bridge to connect the lens frames to each other. A frame magnet is fixed at each outer end of the frame unit, a spectacle magnet is fixed at each outer end of the spectacle unit, and a clip magnet is fixed at each outer end of the clip-on.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a spectacles and sunshade clip assembly. The assembly comprises spectacles including a pair of lens frames, and a pair of hinges affixed to opposite outer ends of the lens, and a sunshade clip including a pair of sunshade lens frames connected to each other by means of a bridge. The sunshade clip further comprises a pair of magnet ribs affixed to opposite outer ends of the sunshade lens frames to linearly extend across only a relatively short distance in a longitudinal direction of the sunshade clip. A respective one of the hinges provided at the spectacles is spaced apart forward from a reference line having a radius of curvature defined by inner surfaces of the lens frames, so that a portion thereof, coming into contact with a corresponding one of the lens frames, forms a forwardly-protruding portion. The forwardly-protruding portion is formed as a recessed magnet-mounting portion to receive a corresponding one of the magnets.
Abstract:
In a method of manufacturing an optical attenuator, a bonding medium layer of polymer is used to bond an actuator structure and a support structure. A silicon layer is provided with waveguides for transmitting optical signals from an optical signal transmission line and an activator is formed at a predetermined portion thereof. The waveguides are inserted into cavities of the bonding medium layer. A support layer is attached to the bonding medium layer at an opposite face to a face where the bonding medium layer is bonded with a silicon substrate.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for compensating a radio frequency distortion caused by a sample/hold operation of a digital/analog converter in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission system, and a method thereof. In a digital transmission system, an edge frequency signal of a transmission signal band is distorted by a sample/hold operation of a digital/analog converter such that a signal attenuation is generated at a frequency domain by a sync function having a zero point at a sample frequency of a transmission signal. In the present invention, the signal distortion may be compensated by multiplying a coefficient of an inverse sync function by a signal weight value at the frequency domain, and it may be compensated by using a single multiplier and a lookup table storing the coefficient of the inverse sync function.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for operating a fuel supply system for a marine structure. The fuel supply system includes a BOG compression unit configured to receive and compress BOG generated in a storage tank, a reliquefaction apparatus configured to receive and liquefy the BOG compressed by the BOG compression unit, a high-pressure pump configured to compress the liquefied BOG generated by the reliquefaction apparatus, and a high-pressure gasifier configured to gasify the liquefied BOG compressed by the high-pressure pump. The fuel supply system includes a recondenser installed at an upstream side of the high-pressure pump, and the recondenser recondenses a portion or all of the generated BOG by using liquefied gas supplied from the storage tank. During a ballast voyage process, all of the BOG is supplied to and recondensed by the recondenser, and an operation of the reliquefaction apparatus is interrupted.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a capacitive element sensor and to a method for manufacturing same. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a change in total capacitance brought about by the electrical charge of biomolecules attached to an electrode and to a sensor for measuring the change.
Abstract:
A management server and method for providing a cloud computing service at high speed and reasonable cost, are provided. The management server provides a virtual machine to a client as a computing resource. The virtual machine is multiplexed by operating multiple virtual devices on a single virtual machine. Accordingly, demand for computing resources may be predicted in advance and may be provided to a user more efficiently.
