Abstract: The present invention discloses a scintillator structure and to a method for producing an output optical signal at a specific wavelength range. The scintillator structure comprises a multilayer nanostructure formed by at least one pair of alternating first and second layered material being arranged along one or more principal axes. The multi-layer nanostructure defines predetermined geometrical parameters and the structure is made of at least two different material compositions. At least one of the first layered material, the second layered material, or the combination of both, define scintillation properties. The invention also discloses a detector system for detecting an input radiation comprising a scintillator structure being as defined above and being configured and operable to collect most of the emitted optical signal.

Abstract: A method for automatic determining of a state of a heart of a patient based on multiple-lead ECG information of the patient, the method includes (a) receiving the multiple-lead ECG information of the patient, by a computerized system; and (b) applying one or more machine learning processes on the multiple-lead ECG information of the patient to determine the state of a heart of the patient, wherein the state of the heart comprises at least one heart condition of multiple types of heart conditions. One, some or all of the one or more machine learning processes was trained using a dataset that comprises multiple computer generated images, the multiple computer generated images represent images acquired by an image acquisition process of ECG plots, wherein the ECG plots are generated based on digital multiple-lead ECG signals.

Abstract: A ptychography system is presented for imaging an object located in an object plane. The ptychography system comprises an optical system, and a detection device. The optical system comprises a single shot ptychography arrangement configured and operable to create light response patterns from the object in the object plane on a pixel matrix of the detection device during the same exposure session of the detection device, wherein the optical system further comprises at least one light coding device configured and operable to apply at least one predetermined coding function to at least one of illuminating light and the light response of the object being collected, and said detection device is configured and operable with a predetermined duration of the exposure session during which the pixel matrix detects the collected light, such that image data indicative of the detected light during a single exposure session is in the form of a coded light response of the object being illuminated.

The laser system further comprises a pumping unit configured to provide pumping of a group of the optical elements of the array within at least a portion of the spatial region corresponding with said topological mode; and at least one output port optically coupled to one or more of the optical elements associated with said topological mode. The at least one output ports is configured for extracting a portion of light intensity from said laser system.
