Abstract: A location management function (LMF) of a network provides timing errors to user equipment and/or base stations for positioning purposes. The LMF receives an indication of an effective timing error for a downlink time difference of arrival (DL-TDOA) positioning technique, wherein the effective timing error is associated with a set of base stations configured to transmit positioning reference signals for the DL-TDOA and provides the effective timing error to a user equipment (UE) performing operations related to the DL-TDOA.

Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing techniques for a user equipment (UE) having dual connectivity. The UE can communicate with a first primary base station in a first primary cell (PCell) and a second primary base station in a second PCell. The UE has dual connectivity in the second PCell using a first wireless carrier to communicate with the second primary base station and a second wireless carrier to communicate with a secondary base station in a primary secondary cell (PSCell). The UE receives a message from the first primary base station to perform a handover procedure. The UE performs the handover procedure according to the received message, and further perform an addition procedure for the secondary base station in parallel with the handover procedure. A start time of the addition procedure can be before an end time of the handover procedure.

Abstract: Some aspects include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for beamforming to perform received signal strength indicator (RSSI) measurements in a 5G wireless communications system. This beamforming may apply to RSSI measurements in an unlicensed spectrum. In some aspects, user equipment (UE) may use beam sweeping to analyze multiple received beams and to determine an RSSI measurement. When using beam sweeping, network nodes may use scheduling and/or measurement restrictions to avoid data collisions. These restrictions may apply to multiple active serving cells. In some aspects, a UE may use beam selection to determine an RSSI measurement. For example, the UE may select one or more beams from a serving component carrier (CC). In some aspects, a network node may indicate to the UE which beams to use for the RSSI measurement. In some aspects, the UE may use a frequency domain resource to perform the RSSI measurement.

The cellular base station sends the control information to a wireless device. The control information may be associated with Type3-PDCCH CSS configuration including DCI Format 2_5 and 2_6, SCell dormancy behavior, scheduling restrictions, USS configuration including non-fallback and fallback DCI Formats, and interaction with Multi-DCI Multi-TRP operation. After receiving the control information, the wireless device may conduct corresponding performance.
