Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, modifying a user profile associated with a user associated with a content service to generate an updated user profile according to consumption of media content by the user and user feedback information associated with the consumption of the media content, determining a user context according to information associated with user device, where the user context includes current activity of the user, modifying a set of media content according to the user context that is determined to generate an updated set of media content, where a type of media content is eliminated from the set of media content in the updated set of media content according to the user context, and presenting the updated set of content at a presentation device of the user via a personal media channel of the user associated with the content service. Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a device, a first image of a scene and a second image of at least a portion of the scene. The method includes identifying a first plurality of features from the first image and comparing the first plurality of features to a second plurality of features from the second image to identify a common feature. The method includes determining a particular subset of pixels that corresponds to the common feature, the particular subset of pixels corresponding to a first subset of pixels of the first image and a second subset of pixels of the second image. The method also includes generating a first image quality estimate of the first image based on a comparison of a first degree of variation within the first subset of pixels and a second degree of variation within the second subset of pixels.

Abstract: A processing system having at least one processor may establish a communication session between a first communication system of a first user and a second communication system of a second user, the communication session including first visual content, the first visual content including a first visual representation of the first user, and detecting a first action of the first visual representation in the first visual content in accordance with a first action detection model. The processing system may modify, in response to the detecting the first action, the first visual content in accordance with a first configuration setting of the first user for the communication session, which may include modifying the first action of the first visual representation of the first user in the first visual content. Abstract: A system, process and software that incorporate the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying a condition that causes an impaired perception of an original media content item during a presentation. A media content modification is determined, wherein application of the media content modification to the original media content item results in a modified media content item. The modified media content item, when presented to the media presentation device, ameliorates the impaired perception of the media content item. The media content modification is applied to the original media content item resulting in the modified media content item. The modified media content item is presented at the media presentation device contemporaneously with the original media content item, allowing different viewers to observe the modified media content item simultaneously with the original. Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for adjusting a network-controllable physical resource of a sensory service in response to biometric data for a group of users are disclosed. In one example, a processing system including at least one processor may gather biometric data of each user of a group of users of a sensory service. The sensory service may comprise at least one network-controllable physical resource. The processing system may then aggregate the biometric data for the group of users and tailor the sensory service for the group of users based upon the biometric data for the group of users that is aggregated. In one example, the tailoring of the sensory service may include adjusting the at least one network-controllable physical resource in response to the biometric data that is aggregated for the group of users.

Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are disclosed which relate to remotely monitoring the health of an individual. The individual wears a health monitoring device, with an attached strap, capable of sensing characteristics of the individual. These characteristics may include voice level and tone, movements, blood pressure, temperature, etc. The device allows individuals to constantly monitor their health without having to physically visit a doctor or other health care professional. Wireless communication, for instance with an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) set-top box, allows measurements to be made and evaluated by a computerized healthcare service provider. For a more accurate evaluation, measurements are sent over the INTERNET to a service. The device communicates with services in order to diagnose the individual based upon the characteristics.

Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed for improving an object model based upon measurements of physical properties of an object via an unmanned vehicle using adversarial examples.
