Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of upper-row receptacle terminals, and a plurality of lower-row receptacle terminals. The insulated housing is received in the metallic shell. The upper-row receptacle terminals are held in the insulated housing and include a plurality of tail portions protruded from a bottom of the insulation body to be arranged into a row. The lower-row receptacle terminals are held in the insulated housing and include a plurality of tail portions protruded from the bottom of the insulated housing to be arranged into a first row and a second row. The tail portions of the lower-row receptacle terminals are parallel to the tail portions of the upper-row receptacle terminals.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base member, an upper portion, a lower portion and defines a mating room between the upper portion and the lower portion. The upper portion and the lower portion are extending from one side of the base member. The metallic shell encloses the insulated housing, and includes a front shell and a rear shell. The front shell includes a front cover portion and a rear cover portion. The rear cover portion is extending from a rear side of the front cover portion. The rear shell encloses the front side of the base member and includes a front extending plate propped on the rear cover portion, so that the front shell and the rear shell are fixed with each other.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base member, an upper portion, a lower portion and a mating room between the upper portion and the lower portion. The base member includes a plurality of recessed portions. The upper and lower portions are extending from one side of the base member. The metallic shell encloses the insulated housing, and the metallic shell includes a rear case body and a front case body. The base member is inside the rear case body. The front case body is drawn from the rear case body to be formed at a front side of the rear case body. The front case body protrudes from the front side of the rear case body. The front case body defines a receiving cavity therein to dispose the upper portion and the lower portion.
Abstract:
An electrical connector plug has resilient contact terminals for electrical connection to an electrical connector socket. The electrical connector plug has an electrically conductive housing, and a dielectric shell and resilient contact terminals are mounted in the electrically conductive housing. The dielectric shell has a base portion and a front edge portion extending from the base portion. Two groups of resilient contact terminals are mounted on the dielectric shell and axially symmetrical to each other in the longitudinal direction, with each of the resilient contact terminals having a flat section and an upwardly protruding contact section. A metallic shield frame surrounds the front edge portion and is electrically connected to the electrically conductive housing, with the metallic shield frame having a front section and two lateral protective sections. The lateral protective sections have a height no less than that of the upwardly protruding contact sections.
Abstract:
An electrical connector including a base member and a plurality of first terminals disposed in the base member is provided. Each of the first terminals has an contact segment and an tail segment opposite to each other. The contact segments respectively belong to two different parallel planes, and the tail segments are located on a same plane. The first terminals form a plurality of terminal sets in the tail segments, and each of the terminal sets includes a ground terminal, a pair of super speed differential terminals, and a power terminal which are adjacent to each other and are sequentially arranged.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, receptacle terminals, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion outwardly extending from the base portion. Two metal sheets are arranged at two sides of the tongue portion. Each of the metal sheets includes a hook structure protruding from a side portion of the tongue portion and a through hole adjacent to the hook structure. The receptacle terminals are held in the base portion and disposed at the surface of the tongue portion. The metallic shell includes a receptacle cavity. The insulated housing is held in the receiving cavity. The contact arms are formed by the through holes of the metal sheets in an elastic manner, to avoid the hooks on both sides of the electrical plug connector in contact with the metal sheets in a poor interference manner.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell and one or more insertion modules. The metallic shell includes two first walls, two second walls, and several protrusions. The walls form an insertion space. The protrusions are extending toward the insertion space from the first walls, and the protrusions are integrally formed on the first walls seamlessly. The insertion module includes an insulated housing, first receptacle terminals, second receptacle terminals, and a grounding plate between the first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals. When the electrical receptacle connector is mated with an electrical plug connector, the protrusions are in contact with a metallic shell of the electrical plug connector. Because the walls of the metallic shell are seamless, the connector assembly of the plug and receptacle can be waterproof. Moreover, the contacts between the protrusions and the electrical plug connector reduce the electromagnetic interferences and the radiofrequency interferences.
Abstract:
An electrical connector is provided, including a plastic core having a frame and at least one partition plate integrally formed with the frame for defining a plurality of recesses, a first connector received in one of the recesses, and a second connector received in another one of the recesses. As such, the instant disclosure only needs to solder the electrical connector to a circuit board of an electronic product so as for the electronic product to obtain a plurality of connector ports, thus greatly reducing the fabrication time.
