摘要: An arrangement of sewing successive edges of material which extend in two directions. The arrangement comprises a stationary sewing table having a prescribed sewing area. The sewing table supports a carriage. A sewing machine is supported by the carriage. Drives are provided for the carriage and the sewing machine and are operative to move the carriage selectively in the X and Y directions while operating the sewing machine to sew. A material feeding assembly having an independent drive is provided to feed material into the sewing area and to maintain the fed material in the sewing area in a flat fixed position for a prescribed period of time. A control operates to actuate the feeding assembly to position the material, to actuate the sewing machine to sew and to actuate the carriage carrying the sewing machine to move in the X and Y directions about the sewing area forming automatically a folded fabric having all edges stitched.

摘要: A CCD shift register includes a continuous buried channel over a length of the shift register, a plurality of conductor segments, a plurality of narrow bus segments, and a plurality of wide busses. Each conductor segment includes a plurality of sets of conductors, and each set of conductors includes plurality of conductors, each conductor in a set corresponding to a respective clock signal of a plurality of clock signals. Each conductor of each set extends across the buried channel. A first narrow bus segment of the plurality of narrow bus segments includes a plurality of narrow busses that are disposed parallel to and offset from the buried channel, each narrow bus corresponding to a respective clock signal of the plurality of clock signals, and each narrow bus is coupled to a respective conductor of each set of a first conductor segment. Each wide bus corresponds to a respective signal of the plurality of clock signals, and each wide bus is coupled to a respective narrow bus of the first narrow bus segment, each wide bus being more conductive than any narrow bus.

摘要: A wire unroller apparatus having a base configured to be removably mounted to a vehicle and at least one first spindle and a second spindle mounted to the base and configured to receive one or more spools of wire. The base has a base surface, left and right arms extending away from the base surface and terminating at ends, and a cross bar removably connected to the ends of the left and right arms. The first spindle is oriented in a first direction and is connected between the base surface and the cross bar. The second spindle is oriented in a second direction and is mounted between the left and right arms. The spools of wire on the first spindle and the second spindle may be unrolled at the same time.

摘要: A method and system for building a point-in-time snapshot of an eventually-consistent data store. The data store includes key-value pairs stored on a plurality of storage nodes. In one embodiment, the data store is implemented as an Apache® Cassandra database running in the “cloud.” The data store includes a journaling mechanism that stores journals (i.e., inconsistent snapshots) of the data store on each node at various intervals. In Cassandra, these snapshots are sorted string tables that may be copied to a back-up storage location. A cluster of processing nodes may retrieve and resolve the inconsistent snapshots to generate a point-in-time snapshot of the data store corresponding to a lagging consistency point. In addition, the point-in-time snapshot may be updated as any new inconsistent snapshots are generated by the data store such that the lagging consistency point associated with the updated point-in-time snapshot is more recent.

摘要: An arm mechanism for an elliptical exerciser comprises a linkage having a first end pivotally mounted to a frame of the elliptical exerciser, and a second end receiving a reciprocating movement from a foot pedal of the elliptical exerciser. An arm member has a handling portion to be handled by a user of the elliptical exerciser, and a coupling portion to be coupled to the first end of the linkage. A coupling mechanism releasably couples the linkage to the arm member such that the linkage and the arm member rotate jointly about the frame upon the linkage receiving the reciprocating movement from the foot pedal in a coupled position of the coupling mechanism, and for decoupling the arm member from the linkage in a decoupled position of the coupling mechanism to prevent rotation of the arm member while the linkage rotates.

摘要: A mechanism for an elliptical exerciser comprises a crank rotatably connected to a frame so as to have a free end rotatable in a circular path. A restriction member is rotatably connected to the frame. A transmission member is connected to the restriction member, and a central portion thereof is rotatably connected to the crank, whereby the central portion of the transmission member moves along said circular path while the first end of the transmission member is constrained by the restriction member to move along a reciprocating arcuate path, such that a free end of the transmission member moves along an elliptical path. A reciprocating member has a first end rotatably connected to the transmission member, with a second end of the reciprocating member being operatively mounted to the frame, such that a reciprocating movement of the second end of the reciprocating member along the frame causes the first end of the reciprocating member to move along said elliptical path by the combined constraints of the crank, the restriction member and the transmission member. A foot pedal is connected to the reciprocating member, whereby the foot pedal moves along another elliptical path.
