摘要: A flame-retardant ultraviolet-resistant aramid fiber, the preparation method therefor comprising the following steps: adding nanoparticles into a hydrogen peroxide solution, performing magnetic stirring for 0.5-1 h, adding a sulfuric acid solution, and further performing magnetic stirring for 0.5 h; performing filtering to obtain a filter cake, and washing the filter cake with water and drying same to obtain modified particles; modifying the modified particles with curcumin and dopamine to obtain organic substance-modified particles; and finally subjecting the organic substance-modified particles to a reaction with a silicon methoxylated aramid fiber, so as to obtain a surface-modified aramid fiber. The present invention has high ultraviolet absorption and extremely low catalytic activity, avoiding damage to a fiber structure by photocatalysis in a radiation process, and in particular improving flame retardancy of the aramid fiber.

摘要: A water filtration membrane is provided, capable of removing heavy metal ions, filtering out particulates, filtering out bacteria, as well as removing herbicides and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from water. The membrane is composed of a mat of randomly oriented nanoparticle-coated nanofibers. The nanofibers are covalently bonded to a plurality of substantially uniformly-distributed ceramic nanoparticles embedded in or adhered on the surface of the polymer nanofibers through reactive functional groups. The ceramic nanoparticles have a pattern of deep grooves formed on the nanoparticle surfaces. The bonding of the nanoparticles to the nanofibers is sufficient to retain the nanoparticles on the nanofiber surfaces when water flows through the water filtration membrane. 摘要: The invention discloses an aramid fiber electrode and a preparation method thereof. Silver nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes and polypyrrole were sequentially coated on the surface of the aramid fiber by chemical bonding, to prepare an aramid fiber electrode, two aramid fiber electrodes were wound with an electrolyte to obtain an aramid fiber electrochemical capacitor. Compared with the polymer fiber electrochemical capacitor prepared in the prior art, the aramid fiber electrochemical capacitor provided by the present invention has both high specific capacitance, high energy density, high mechanical performance, high stability, good flexibility and wearability. And other characteristics; the preparation method is controllable and suitable for large-scale applications.

摘要: Processes for making weather resistant, slow-decaying, durable natural fiber/coir geotextiles produce geotextiles having flexibility, permeability, light weight and cost-effective characteristics. In this process an in situ chemical grafting using a mixture of Cashew Nut Shell Liquid and aminoalkyl trialkoxysilanes with cellulose was done followed by curing in presence of sunlight, UV light or heat. The developed product showed durability and strength more than that of natural fiber/fabric and retaining natural fiber/fabric/geotextiles characteristics. The geotextiles have delayed bio-deterioration having wider long-term end use/applications. This process of making durable geotextiles is eco-friendly and retains the desired characteristic.

摘要: A wet wipe is disclosed that provides both contact sanitization of a surface and application of a residual antimicrobial coating on the surface through the same wiping. The wet wipe comprises a substrate such as an absorbent nonwoven fabric and a liquid composition impregnated therein, the liquid composition comprising an organosilane such as the antimicrobial dimethyloctadecyl[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl] ammonium chloride, a non-silane quaternary disinfectant, an organic amine, and a solvent. The non-silane quaternary actives comprise a mixture of actives, and the solvent comprises 60 wt. % isopropanol or more.

摘要: A process of fabricating the waterproof coating may include selecting a textile material substrate, utilizing a sol-gel comprising a silane or silane derivative and metal oxide precursor to coat the substrate, and optionally coating the substrate with a hydrophobic chemical agent and/or other chemical agents to create a surface with nanoscopic or microscopic features. The process may utilize an all solution process or controlled environment for fabricating a fluorine-free waterproof coating that prevent wetting or staining of a substrate, or may utilize a controlled environment. The composition coatings for treating textile materials improve soil-resistance and stain-resistance of the textile materials while the compositions contain no fluorine-based chemicals. In addition, the composite solution may impart additional properties such as physical strength to the textile whilst retaining the original appearance.
