摘要： A predistorter including a modulator configured for use with an RF power amplifier or in an amplifier system that combines in a data structure correction factors for amplitude and phase non-linearities in the responses of the amplifier and the modulator. Correction factors for memory effects in the response of the RF power amplifier may also be calculated within the data structure from scale factors transferred into the data structure. Such a calculation may be based on a scaled polynomial. A circuit for applying the difference equation to the correction factors may also be included.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for treating cancer. The method involves the administration of an HSP90 inhibitor and a platinum coordination complex, where the combined administration provides a synergistic effect. In one aspect of the invention, a method of treating cancer is provided where a subject is treated with a dose of an HSP90 inhibitor in one step and a dose of a platinum coordination complex in another step. In another aspect of the invention, a method of treating cancer is provided where a subject is first treated with a dose of an HSP90 inhibitor and subsequently treated with a dose of a platinum coordination complex. In another aspect of the invention, a method of treating cancer is provided where a subject is first treated with a dose of a platinum coordination complex and subsequently treated with a dose of an HSP90 inhibitor.

摘要： A system and method for providing “static analysis” of programs to aid in improving runtime performance, stability, security and privacy characteristics of deployed application code. The method includes performing a set of analyses that sifts through the program code and identifies programming security and/or privacy model coding errors. In particular the invention focuses on identifying coding errors that cause loss of correctness, performance degradation, security, privacy and maintainability vulnerabilities. A deep analysis of the program is performed using detailed control and data flow analyses. These deeper analyses provide a much better perspective of the overall application behavior. This deep analysis is in contrast to shallow analyses in current industry tools, which inspect or model a single or a few classes at a time.

摘要： A method of preventing separation of a vertically adjustable support column having sections connected together by mating threads and a support column. External threads of a second section are mated with internal threads of a first section until a first end of the second section protrudes into an enlarged diameter portion of an interior bore of the first section immediately adjacent to the internal threads. A top few of the external threads at the first end of the second section are mechanically damaged. The mechanically damaged threads prevent the first end of the second section from being removed from the enlarged diameter portion of the first section but permit relative telescopic adjustment of the first section and the second telescopic section within a limit provided by the enlarged diameter section.

摘要： Instruments for use in the surgical implanation of a knee prosthesis including a femoral alignment rod for insertion into the medulla of a femur through an access hole located between the femoral condyles. The rod is resiliently deformable so that once the rod is fully inserted within the medulla the portion of the rod located within the medulla contacts the inner walls of the bone defining the medulla and is thus caused to bend. The access hole through which the rod is inserted is sufficiently larger than the diameter of the rod so as to impose no physical constraint on the rod for allowing the portion of the rod which protrudes from the access hole to extend linearly along an axis the position of which is determined by points of contact within the medulla between the rod and the inner walls of the medulla. According to further embodiments, the invention includes an angle adaptor for slideably and rotatably accommodating the protruding end of the alignment rod, and a method of surgically implanting a femoral component of a knee prosthesis.
