Abstract: An energy storage system for a wearable power module includes a harness with a torso segment and a limb segment, a turboalternator supported by the torso segment of the harness, and a chemical energy source. The chemical energy source in fluid communication with the turboalternator and is supported by the limb segment of the harness in a distributed arrangement to allow for support of a mechanical load by the torso segment of the harness. Wearable power modules and exoskeletons are also described.

Abstract: An engine bleed air system for providing air to an aircraft system includes a port for extracting bleed air from a compressor section of an engine. The system additionally includes a turbo-generator having a turbine and a generator. The generator is driven by rotation of the turbine. A boost compressor is fluidly coupled to the port. Bleed air from the port is selectively provided to one of the turbo-generator and the boost compressor based on a demand of the aircraft system.

Abstract: A peristaltic pump system has a pump tube and a pump rotor engaging the pump tube. The pump rotor is drivable to rotate to move a pump fluid through the pump tube from a pump inlet to a pump outlet. A motor drives the pump rotor to rotate. The motor includes a motor tube and a motor rotor to be driven to rotate by a motor fluid moving through the motor tube from a motor inlet to a motor outlet. A urine treatment system and method are also disclosed.

Abstract: A system has a fluid motor for receiving a pressurized fluid motor causing actuation of the fluid motor, with the fluid motor having a motor inlet and a motor outlet. The motor fluid is delivered from the motor outlet into a container. The motor rotor drives a pump rotor. The pump rotor drives a fluid from a pump inlet to a pump outlet, with the pump outlet being connected into the container. A metering system allows a precise amount of rotation of the motor rotor and the pump rotor to meter the motor fluid and the pump fluid into the container.

Abstract: A ram circuit for an aircraft includes a ram inlet housing, a ram outlet housing, a heat exchanger, a ram air fan, and a particle separator. The ram inlet housing includes a chamber and an inlet configured to receive air. The ram outlet housing is fluidly connected to the ram inlet housing. The heat exchanger is disposed between and fluidly connected to the inlet housing and the outlet housing. The ram air fan is disposed in the outlet housing and includes a motor with a cooling inlet. The particle separator includes an outer inlet and a clean air outlet. The outer inlet is configured to receive ram air from the chamber of the ram inlet housing and faces into a flow of air passing through the chamber. Clean air is discharged through the clean air outlet which is fluidly connected to the cooling inlet of the motor.
