    Abstract: A buffer status report (BSR) reporting method, including generating, by a first terminal, a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU), the MAC PDU including a MAC header and a MAC control element (CE), and the MAC CE including a BSR, where the BSR indicates a size of to-be-transmitted data, the BSR corresponds to first information, the first information is used to indicate attribute information of the to-be-transmitted data, and the to-be-transmitted data is data to be transmitted by the first terminal to a second terminal through a sidelink, and where the attribute information of the to-be-transmitted data includes one or more of a service type of the to-be-transmitted data, a quality of service (QoS) requirement of the to-be-transmitted data, and a transmission link of the to-be-transmitted data, and the method further includes sending, by the first terminal, the MAC PDU to an access network device.

    Abstract: This application provides a network access method, an access device, and a terminal device. The access device is connected to at least two different types of core networks. When the terminal device is to connect to a core network, the terminal device sends, to the access device, a first message used to indicate a type of the terminal device. The access device determines the type of the terminal device based on the first message, and determines, based on the type of the terminal device, a target core network to be connected by the terminal device, so that the access device accurately connects the terminal device to the target core network.

One example method includes receiving, by an access network control device, a location area request message of user equipment (UE) through a first station, where the UE is located in a cell managed by the first station. The access network control device can configure at least one location area identity list for the UE based on the location area request message, where the location area identity list includes at least one location area identity, and the location area identity is used to identify a location area.     Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a data transmission method, device, and system, and belongs to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: receiving a data packet sent by user equipment, where the data packet carries indication information used to instruct a base station to establish a specified data connection to the user equipment; generating a first key of the user equipment based on the indication information and a public key of the base station; and performing data transmission with the user equipment based on the first key of the user equipment. According to the data transmission method, the transmitted data can be encrypted and decrypted when there is no radio resource control connection between the base station and the user equipment, thereby improving data transmission security while ensuring data transmission efficiency.

    Abstract: This application discloses an information transmission method in a communication system. According to the method, a master base station sends a request message to a secondary base station for requesting to transfer one or more flows from the master base station to the secondary base station for transmission to a terminal device. The request message carries one or both of identification information of each flow, and information of a data radio bearer (DRB) associated with each flow. The master base station receives a response message from the secondary base station, indicating whether each of the one or more flows is admitted or rejected by the secondary base station. Based on the identification information of the flows, DRBs are mapped to the flows. QoS management of information transmission is more refined, and requirements of 5G communication systems for QoS management of information transmission in a dual connectivity scenario can be met.
