摘要: The magnetic bubble memory device of this invention is arranged such that a magnetic bubble detector and a nucleation type magnetic bubble generator in a chip are made to operate at different phases of the same operation cycle of a rotating magnetic field. Therefore, the operation time of the magnetic bubble detector and the operation time of the nucleation type magnetic bubble detector are completely separated from each other, although they are involved by the same cycle of operation of the rotating magnetic field. Consequently, the magnetic bubble detector can perform the detecting operation, without being affected by large amounts of noise which are generated during the operation of the nucleation type magnetic bubble generator.

摘要: A resource reservation system includes a terminal apparatus including first circuitry; and an information processing apparatus including second circuitry. The first circuitry is configured to transmit, to the information processing apparatus, a request for a start of use of a resource, using an identification information of a user of the terminal apparatus. The second circuitry is configured to: in response to receiving the request for the start of use, in a case in which the identification information of the user is included in next reservation information after a time when the request is received and the resource is not reserved for the time when the request is received, advance a start time of a reservation of the next reservation information after the time when the request is received; and permit the start of use of the resource identified by the next reservation information in which the start time is advanced.

摘要: This invention proposes a disk array apparatus capable of improving its reliability. This disk array apparatus includes a first controller, and a second controller configured redundantly with the first controller, wherein the first controller and the second controller respectively include a storage area for storing firmware and are both in an operating state. When update processing of an update portion as a portion to be updated in the firmware of the first controller is unsuccessful, the first controller confirms whether update processing of an update portion of the firmware of the second controller is also unsuccessful, and, in a case where the update processing of the update portion of the firmware of the second controller has ended normally, rewrites firmware data of the update portion of the first controller with the firmware data of the update portion of the second controller.

摘要: An optical film includes a base member and an optical layer provided on the base member. The optical layer has an irregular shape on a surface thereof, and the irregular shape is obtained by applying a coating material containing fine particles and a resin onto the base member, distributing the fine particles densely in some regions and sparsely in other regions by convection that occurs in the coating material, and curing the coating material. The resin contains 3% by weight or more and 20% by weight or less of a polymer, the fine particles are organic fine particles having an average particle diameter of 2 μm or more and 8 μm or less, a ratio ((D/T)×100) of the average particle diameter D of the fine particles to an average film thickness T of the optical layer is 20% or more and 70% or less, and a transmitted image clarity value measured with an optical comb having a width of 0.125 mm is 45 or more.
