    摘要: A method of forming an electrode for a surface acoustic wave (SAW) device comprises the steps of forming an alloy film (32) made of aluminum (Al) and magnesium (Mg) on a substrate (31) and selectively etching the alloy film (32) by using a gaseous mixture composed of BCl3, Cl2, and N2 to form the electrode such that the electrode has at least one sidewall polymer film (33). The method controls the production of hillocks and voids to provide high withstand voltage.

    摘要: A novel fluorescent ink is provided which contains at least a coloring material and an aqueous liquid medium for dissolving the coloring material, wherein the coloring material comprises C.I. Acid Red 52 and at least one direct dye, the content of the C.I. Acid Red 52 ranging from 0.1 to 0.4% by weight based on the total amount of the ink, and the content of the direct dye ranging from 0.15 to 0.4% by weight based on the total amount of the ink, and the weight ratio of the direct dye to the C.I. Acid Red 52 is not higher than 1.6. This fluorescent ink is capable of forming prints with fluorescence of high intensity and with high water resistance.

    摘要: Provided is an ink jet ink including a monoazo pigment and a resin, the ink being used for an ink jet recording system in which the ink is ejected from a recording head by an action of thermal energy. The monoazo pigment is a self-dispersible pigment having an anionic group bonded to a particle surface of the pigment directly or via another atomic group and has a surface charge amount of 5.9×10−2 mmol/g or more and 9.8×10−2 mmol/g or less. The resin has an acid value of 100 mg KOH/g or more and 160 mg KOH/g or less. The mass ratio of the content (mass %) of the resin to the content (mass %) of the monoazo pigment in the ink is 0.05 times or more and 0.25 times or less.

    摘要: An aqueous ink comprises water, a water-insoluble coloring material, and plurality of water-soluble organic solvents and the plurality of water-soluble organic solvents including a good medium or good mediums for the water-insoluble coloring material and a poor medium or poor mediums for the water-insoluble coloring material. The ratio of the content of the poor medium and the content of the good medium is in a specific range. A water-soluble organic solvent showing the maximum Ka value out of respective Ka values of the plurality of water-soluble organic solvents is the poor medium. When the aqueous ink is in contact with a specific reaction liquid, the dissolution state or dispersed state of the water-insoluble coloring material in the ink is made unstable. As a result, an image which has a sufficiently large area factor even with a small amount of ink droplets and is excellent in image density, bleeding resistance, and fixability can be obtained. In addition, the aqueous ink is excellent in storage stability.
