    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication methods and apparatuses, and relates to the field of communication technologies. In one example method, a first communication apparatus generates a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), and sends the PPDU to a second communication apparatus. The PPDU includes a first field with 26 bits, and the first field includes a one-bit unsolicited modulation and coding scheme (MCS) feedback (MFB) subfield and a one-bit first indication information. When a value of the unsolicited MFB subfield is a first value, the first indication information indicates an MCS request (MRQ). When a value of the unsolicited MFB subfield is a second value, the first indication information indicates an uplink extremely high throughput trigger-based PPDU MFB (UL EHT TB PPDU MFB).

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, in particular, to a beacon frame transmission method in an EMLSR mode, and is applied to a wireless local area network supporting the 802.11be standard. A TXOP holder sends a first frame before a first delay prior to a next TBTT, where the first frame indicates TXOP termination on a first link. The first delay is used by an EMLSR non-AP MLD to change a spatial stream on a second link to a state supporting beacon frame reception on the second link. The non-AP MLD changes, within the first delay after the TXOP termination on the first link, a spatial stream on the second link to supporting successful beacon frame reception on the second link, and receives a beacon frame by using a spatial stream currently supported on the second link at the next TBTT.

    Abstract: A physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) transmission method is provided. The method includes generating a PPDU, where the PPDU includes an extremely high throughput-long training field (EHT-LTF). The method further includes sending the PPDU.
