    Abstract: Logic may define one or more wake-up preambles suitable for high data rates for a wake-up radio (WUR) packet. Logic may define wake-up preamble with different counts of symbols. Logic may generate a wake-up preamble as an on-off keying (OOK) signal. Logic may generate and receive a wake-up preamble that signals a high data transmission rate with respect to data rates defined for WUR packet transmissions. Logic may generate or receive a preamble that signals a rate of transmission of the WUR packet as 250 kilobits per second. Logic may transmit or receive bits of the wake-up preamble as two microsecond orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) based pulses, wherein each two microsecond OFDM based pulse is based on a 32-point Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) in a 20 Megahertz (MHz) bandwidth, with a subcarrier spacing of 625 Kilohertz (KHz) to produce six subcarriers in a four MHz bandwidth.

    Abstract: The application relates to ultra-low latency data transmission in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). An apparatus used in an Access Point Station (AP STA), including processor circuitry configured to cause the AP STA to, when there is downlink urgent data that must be transmitted without waiting for a scheduled downlink slot: generate a downlink urgent packet from the downlink urgent data; and in a blank symbol of ongoing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) uplink transmission to the AP STA, transmit the downlink urgent packet on frequency domain resources for the ongoing OFDM uplink transmission to the AP STA, or in a blank symbol of ongoing OFDM downlink transmission from the AP STA, transmit the downlink urgent packet on frequency domain resources for the ongoing OFDM downlink transmission from the AP STA.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media include an apparatus of an access point (AP) or station (STA) comprising processing circuitry configured to decode a legacy preamble of a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU), determine whether the legacy preamble comprises an indication that the PPDU is an extremely-high throughput (EHT) PPDU, and in response to the determination indicating the PPDU is the EHT PPDU, decode the EHT PPDU. Some embodiments determine a spatial stream resource allocation based on a row of a spatial configuration table, a row of a frequency resource unit table, a number of stations, and location of the station relative to the number of stations in user fields of an EHT-signal (SIG) field. To accommodate 16 spatial streams, some embodiments extend the length of the packet extension field, extend signaling of a number of spatial streams, and/or extend a number of EHT-SIG symbols.

A device may include a wake-up receiver (WURx) and a primary connectivity radio. The device may determine a wake-up radio (WUR) discovery subchannel for WUR advertisement. The WUR discovery subchannel may be associated with a channel of a frequency band. The device may generate a WUR discovery frame comprising a WUR advertisement. The device may transmit, by the WURx, the WUR discovery frame to a second device using the WUR discovery subchannel. The device may identify a response from the second device indicating an acknowledgment of the WUR discovery frame.
