摘要: A container for holding a wafer includes an enclosure portion having a top, a bottom, a pair of opposing sides, a back and an opposing open front defined by a door frame. A door is sealingly engagable in the door frame to close the open front. The container further includes wafer restraint means in the enclosure including fixed wafer restraint means and operable wafer restraint means. The operable wafer restraint means is selectively positionable by engaging and disengaging the door from the door frame, and is positioned so to enable insertion or removal of a wafer from the container when the door is disengaged from the door frame and positioned so as to cooperate with the fixed wafer restraint means to restrain the wafer in the container when the door is engaged in the door frame.

摘要: A first appliance for ensuring data integrity in network memory is disclosed. The first appliance includes a processor and a communications interface that communicates over a communication network with a second appliance of the network memory. The processor determines whether reconciliation between a first peer state information in the first appliance and a second peer state information in the second appliance is needed. The first peer state information and the second peer state information track the status of data in the network memory. The processor determines an action to reconcile the first peer state information with the second peer state information based on a positive determination that the reconciliation is needed. The processor then performs the action to reconcile the first peer state information with the second peer state information.

摘要: Technology is disclosed for directing data through a network switch. One version of a network switch employs a mid-plane architecture that allows data to be directed between any link interface and any processing engine. Each time slot of data from an ingress link interface can be separately directed to any ingress processing engine. Each time slot of data from an egress processing engine can be separately directed to any egress link interface that supports the lower level protocol for the data. In one version of the switch, each processing engine in the network switch has the ability to service all of the protocols from the layers of the OSI model that are supported by the switch and not handled on the link interfaces. This allows the switch to allocate processing engine resources, regardless of the protocols employed in the data passing through the switch.

摘要: A system for processing packets includes a communications interface and a processor. A communications interface receives a packet between a source and a destination. The processor identifies a flow between the source and the destination based on the packet. The processor determines whether some of packet data of the packet matches to storage data in storage using hashes. The processor then stores the packet data in a block of memory in the storage based on the flow and if the packet data does not match the storage data.

摘要: A container for holding a plurality of wafers in an axially aligned, generally parallel spaced apart arrangement includes an enclosure portion having a top, a bottom, a pair of opposing sides, a back and an open front. At least one wafer support is provided in the enclosure along with a kinematic coupling on the bottom of the enclosure. The container has a door for sealingly closing the open front which includes a chassis and an operable latching mechanism on the chassis. The latching mechanism includes a cam selectively rotatable to shift the latching mechanism between a first favored position and a second favored position and at least one vibration dampener for dampening vibrations generated when the latching mechanism is shifted between the first and second favored positions.

摘要: A method and apparatus for forming an absorbent core assembly containing a batt of particulate material which may be used in an absorbent article. The apparatus may include a laydown drum having a plurality of vacuum zones, a plurality of fence zones, and a plurality of blow-off zones. The vacuum zones may be substantially permeable to permit air to pass through and into the laydown drum. The fence zones may be substantially impermeable to inhibit air from passing through. The blow-off zones may be substantially permeable to permit air to pass out of and through said laydown drum. The apparatus may also include a deposition chute for depositing particulate material on a web of material in close proximity to the laydown drum. A shield may also be attached to the deposition chute in order to prevent the particles from bouncing off of the laydown drum.
