摘要: The invention discloses a novel radiation-curable silicone-based release coating composition capable of giving a cured release coating film on a substrate such as a plastic resin film exhibiting excellent adhesion to a variety of substrate materials and excellent releasability. The radiation-curable releasing silicone composition of the invention comprises (A) an aromatic compound having, in a molecule, at least two cationically polymerizable organopolysiloxanyl groups such as epoxy-substituted organopolysiloxanyl groups as the silicone ingredient and (B) a photopolymerization initiator which is an onium salt compound such as diaryliodonium salt compounds.

摘要: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell includes a positive electrode containing lithium-contained complex oxide, a negative electrode containing a material which can absorb and desorb lithium or lithium ion, and a separator which is filled with an organic electrolyte. The separator is composed of a plurality of laminated blend polymer fine porous films each containing polyethylene and polypropylene, and at least one of the laminated blend polymer fine porous films has a different ratio of polyethylene and polypropylene from the other blend polymer fine porous films. In this construction, a blend polymer fine porous film having a higher ratio of polypropylene increases the piercing strength of the separator, and at the same time a blend polymer fine porous film having a higher ratio of polyethylene increases the shut-down characteristic.

摘要: A magnetic recording medium excellent in electromagnetic properties is disclosed, which comprises a non-magnetic support and at least two magnetic layers formed thereon, each of which is mainly composed of a magnetic substance and a binder, in which a first magnetic layer (a lower layer) has a coercive force of 450 to 660 Oe, a residual magnetic flux density (Br) of 1,950 gausses or more and a thickness of 1.5 to 5 .mu.m, a second magnetic layer (an upper layer) has a coercive force of 700 to 900 Oe, a residual magnetic flux density of 1,500 gausses or more and a thickness of 1.5 to 3 .mu.m, the difference in coercive force between the first magnetic layer and the second magnetic layer is 150 to less than 300 Oe, the difference in residual magnetic flux density between the first magnetic layer and the second magnetic layer is within 600 gausses, and the total thickness of magnetic layers on the non-magnetic support is 3 to 7 .mu.m.

摘要: An improvement of a magnetic recording medium in the continuous form comprising a nonmagnetic support, a magnetic recording layer provided on one surface of the support, and a back layer provided on the other surface of the support comprising a binder and nonmagnetic particles dispersed therein. The improvement resides in that the binder of the back layer mainly contains:a polyurethane resin containing a repeating unit having at least one polar group selected from the group consisting of --SO.sub.3 M, --OSO.sub.3 M, --COOM and --PO(PM').sub.2, wherein M is hydrogen or an alkali metal atom, and M' is hydrogen, an alkali metal atom or a lower hydrocarbon group; anda vinyl chloride copolymer containing a repeating unit having at least one polar group selected from the group consisting of --SO.sub.3 M, --OSO.sub.3 M, --COOM and --PO(OM').sub.2, wherein M and M' have the same meanings as defined above.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method of producing a discharge display device which enables a LaB.sub.6 cathode to be formed by a thick-film printing method. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of applying a paste prepared by mixing LaB.sub.6 powder with alkali glass powder in a proportion of 20-40 wt. % with respect to the LaB.sub.6 powder to a base electrode, burning the paste, and activating the paste by gas discharge with large current after an exhaustion step to form a LaB.sub.6 cathode on the base electrode.

摘要: An aspect of the present invention relates to a magnetic recording medium comprising a coating layer on a nonmagnetic support, wherein the coating layer comprises a nonmagnetic layer comprising a nonmagnetic powder and a binder and a magnetic layer comprising a ferromagnetic powder and a binder in this order, the nonmagnetic support comprises a main component in the form of a resin obtained by mixing and/or copolymerizing a polyester and a polymer having compatibility with the polyester, has a glass transition temperature of equal to or higher than 80° C. but less than 125° C., and has a heat absorption peak, based on enthalpy relaxation, ranging from 0.5 to 2.0 J/g. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a magnetic recording medium.

摘要: In a bookbinding machine, an image forming apparatus, a prebinding apparatus and a bookbinding apparatus are coupled on line in this order. In the prebinding apparatus, a sheet aligning section, a slitting section which cuts off margins at both side portions of a sheet of paper, a cutting section which cuts off top and bottom margins, and a creasing section are arranged in this order. The prebinding apparatus is provided with a control section which sorts out supplied sheets of paper into those which need an SCC step and those which do not, and performs the SCC step only on the sheets of paper that need the SCC step.

摘要: A method of fabricating a solar cell forms a large number of grooves on a first main surface of a p-type silicon single crystal substrate sliced out from a silicon single crystal ingot as described below. First an edge portion of a groove-carving blade is projected out from a flat substrate feeding surface of a working table by a predetermined height. The p-type silicon single crystal substrate is moved along the substrate feeding surface towards the rotating groove-carving blade while keeping a close contact of the first main surface thereof with the substrate feeding surface. Electrodes are then formed on the inner side face of thus-carved grooves only on one side in the width-wise direction thereof.
