摘要: In a pressure reducing valve, a valve body is slidably fitted in a valve housing with an annular seal member disposed member disposed between the valve body and the valve housing; a black pressure chamber is formed within the valve housing with an end part, on a side opposite to a valve seat, of the valve body facing the back pressure chamber; and a pressure-receiving member that operates in response to fluid pressure on the downstream side of the valve seat is linked to the valve body. The valve housing is provided with a guide hole (31) having a smaller diameter than a seal diameter of the valve body (34) provided by a seal member (35) so that a guide portion (34c) coaxially possessed by the valve body (34) is slidably fitted in the guide hole (31). Accordingly, it enables the length of a sliding section of a valve body to be set short even when the eat is large, thus reducing the dimensions.

摘要: Measurement data of intensities of fluorescence obtained by directing excitation light onto a subject is acquired. An initial value of an absorption coefficient of the phosphor is set on the basis of a concentration distribution of the phosphor, an intensity distribution of the fluorescence on the basis of an absorption coefficient and a diffusion coefficient (reduced scattering coefficient) of the subject, which are set beforehand, are calculated, and the measurement data is compared with the calculation result. If these are found not to be matched, an absorption coefficient of the phosphor at which the error will be a minimum is estimated by performing an inverse problem calculation using a mathematical model. The calculation of the intensity distribution of the fluorescence and evaluation of the error from the obtained concentration distribution are repeated using the absorption coefficient, and a concentration distribution for which the error is the minimum is acquired.

摘要: Reference data are subtracted from corresponding actual measurement data, and unprocessed binding quantity data, each of which represents a quantity of binding of a ligand and each of analytes, are thereby acquired. Calculation is made to find a relationship between the reference data and the unprocessed binding quantity data acquired in cases where the binding does not occur. In accordance with the relationship, variation components, which are contained in the unprocessed binding quantity data, are calculated. The variation components are subtracted from the corresponding unprocessed binding quantity data, and processed binding quantity data are thereby acquired. The processed binding quantity data are utilized for extracting an analyte capable of binding with the ligand.

摘要: A commutator having a plurality of segments, a short-circuit member assembly, a holding portion, and a plurality of spacing members is disclosed. The short-circuit member assembly includes a plurality of short-circuit pieces. Each short-circuit piece has an outer terminal, an inner terminal arranged radially inward from the outer terminal and circumferentially offset from the outer terminal at a predetermined offset angle, and a connecting portion connecting the inner terminal to the outer terminal. The holding portion covers the segments and at least a portion of the short-circuit member assembly to hold the segments and the short-circuit member assembly. The spacing members each have an insulated support portion and a plurality of insulated spacing projections formed integrally with the support portion. Each support portion extends in a radial direction of the short-circuit member assembly. The spacing projections are arranged in the direction in which the corresponding support members extend in such a manner that the spacing projections are each provided between the corresponding circumferentially adjacent pair of the connecting portions.

摘要: The invention presents an optical element with which an optical head can be configured, in which there is little deterioration of the correctional effect when the objective lens shifts, as well as an optical head and an optical recording/reproducing apparatus using such an optical element. The invention also presents a novel optical recording/reproducing apparatus and optical recording/reproducing method. The optical element, includes a first voltage application electrode 13, a first opposing electrode 17 arranged in opposition to the first voltage application electrode 13, and a first phase changing layer 15 arranged between the first voltage application electrode 13 and the first opposing electrode 17. By changing a voltage between the first voltage application electrode 13 and the first opposing electrode 17, a phase that converts plane waves into spherical waves is imparted on light that is incident on the first phase changing layer 15.
