    摘要: A four color liquid crystal display (LCD) including red, green, blue, and white sub-pixels are provided. The LCD also includes a plurality of gate lines for transmitting gate signals to the sub-pixels and a plurality of data lines for transmitting data signals to the sub-pixels. The white sub-pixel is smaller than the other sub-pixels, and each of the data lines passes between adjacent two sub-pixels and includes at least one curved portion. Furthermore, the lengths of the data lines are substantially uniform.

    摘要: A display substrate includes a TFT layer, a passivation layer, an organic layer, an inorganic insulating layer and a pixel electrode. The TFT layer includes gate and data lines, a thin film transistor and a storage electrode. The data line crosses the gate line, and is electrically insulated from the gate line by a gate insulating layer. The TFT is electrically connected to the gate and data lines. The passivation layer covers the TFT layer. The organic layer is on the passivation layer. The inorganic insulating layer of a low temperature deposition is on the organic layer, and the low temperature is about 100° C. to about 250° C. The pixel electrode is on the inorganic insulating layer to be electrically connected to the TFT through a contact hole that is formed through the inorganic insulating layer, the organic layer and the passivation layer. The inorganic insulating layer helps to block leakage of impurities from the organic layer to layers above the inorganic insulating layer.

    摘要: In the provided liquid crystal display apparatus, a first switching element receives a first data signal and a second switching element receives a second data signal having a polarity opposite that of the first data signal. A first pixel electrode is electrically connected to the first switching element to receive the first data signal and a second pixel electrode is electrically connected to the second switching element to receive the second data signal. The second pixel electrode faces the first pixel electrode and is electrically insulated from the first pixel electrode. A liquid crystal layer has liquid crystal molecules aligned in response to the first and second data signals applied to the first and second pixel electrodes, respectively. Thus, the liquid crystal display apparatus may prevent afterimages on a screen thereof and a flickering phenomenon.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device having fingerprint identification device for enhancing aperture ratio and transmissivity of a TFT-LCD panel is disclosed. A fingerprint identification substrate (400) is attached to a TFT substrate (300). The TFI substrate has color-filter-on-array structure in which the color filters (336) and the thin film transistors can be eliminated, the aperture ratio is increased, and the quality of image display is enhanced. In addition, the transmissivity is increased according to the decrease of the number of glass substrate used in the liquid crystal display device, so that the sensitivity of fingerprint identification is enhanced.

    摘要: In a display apparatus, a light generating part generates a first light in response to a driving signal, and a first driving part outputs a panel driving signal. A display panel receives the first light from the light generating part and a second light externally provided, and displays an image in response to the panel driving signal. A light sensing part is disposed in the display panel so as to output a sensing signal corresponding a light amount of the second light. A second driving part compares the sensing signal with a predetermined reference value, and outputs a driving signal in accordance with the compared result. Thus, the display apparatus may reduce an electrical power consumed to drive the display apparatus.
