摘要： A fetch director in a multithreaded microprocessor that concurrently executes instructions of N threads is disclosed. The N threads request to fetch instructions from an instruction cache. In a given selection cycle, some of the threads may not be requesting to fetch instructions. The fetch director includes a circuit for selecting one of threads in a round-robin fashion to provide its fetch address to the instruction cache. The circuit 1-bit left rotatively increments a first addend by a second addend to generate a sum that is ANDed with the inverse of the first addend to generate a 1-hot vector indicating which of the threads is selected next. The first addend is an N-bit vector where each bit is false if the corresponding thread is requesting to fetch instructions from the instruction cache. The second addend is a 1-hot vector indicating the last selected thread. In one embodiment threads with an empty instruction buffer are selected at highest priority; a last dispatched but not fetched thread at middle priority; all other threads at lowest priority. The threads are selected round-robin within the highest and lowest priorities.

The circuit 1-bit left rotatively increments a first addend by a second addend to generate a sum that is ANDed with the inverse of the first addend to generate a 1-hot vector indicating which of the requestors is selected next. The first addend is an N-bit vector where each bit is false if the corresponding requester is requesting access to a shared resource. The second addend is a 1-hot vector indicating the last selected requester. A multithreading microprocessor dispatch scheduler employs the circuit for N concurrent threads each thread having one of P priorities. The dispatch scheduler generates P N-bit 1-hot round-robin bit vectors, and each thread's priority is used to select the appropriate round-robin bit from P vectors for combination with the thread's priority and an issuable bit to create a dispatch level used to select a thread for instruction dispatching.

摘要： A foldable compact disc case for retaining multiple compact discs to the visor of the vehicle. The foldable compact disc visor case is adapted to be connected to a vehicle visor and includes a foldable body having a first body portion and a second body portion, each portion being interconnected by a hinge. The foldable body is adapted to be retained to a vehicle visor by the use of elastomeric straps that are secured around the perimeter of the visor. The foldable body includes a plurality of pockets located on both the first and second body portions for retaining compact discs. The foldable body further includes a page hingedly connected to the foldable body between the first and second body portions. The page includes a plurality of pockets on both sides for retaining compact discs and includes a plurality of fasteners to permit the page to be selectively attached adjacent either the first body portion or the second body portion so that compact discs can be removed from the foldable compact disc case without the need for the driver to retain the position of the page while removing the discs.

摘要： A vehicle traffic sensor for detecting and monitoring vehicular targets is presented. The sensor employs a planar design resulting in a reduced profile sensor. The sensor includes a multi-layer radio frequency board with RF components on one of the sides and both isolation and planar array antennas on the opposing side. The antennas are preferably tapered planar array antennas which include one transmit antenna and one receive antenna. The sensor also includes at least one logic or signal processing board populated with components on a first side and a ground plane on a second side positioned toward the RF componentry of the RF board to form an RF shield. The boards are housed within a housing that is permeable, at least on the side through which the antenna structures propagate.

摘要： The present invention relates to chimeric transmembrane immunoreceptors, named “zetakines,” comprised of an extracellular domain comprising a soluble receptor ligand linked to a support region capable of tethering the extracellular domain to a cell surface, a transmembrane region and an intracellular signalling domain. Zetakines, when expressed on the surface of T lymphocytes, direct T cell activity to those specific cells expressing a receptor for which the soluble receptor ligand is specific. Zetakine chimeric immunoreceptors represent a novel extension of antibody-based immunoreceptors for redirecting the antigen specificity of T cells, with application to treatment of a variety of cancers, particularly via the autocrin/paracrine cytokine systems utilized by human maligancy. In a preferred embodiment is a glioma-specific immunoreceptor comprising the extracellular targetting domain of the IL-13Rα2-specific IL-13 mutant IL-13(E13Y) linked to the Fc region of IgG, the transmembrane domain of human CD4, and the human CD3 zeta chain.

摘要： A rotatable downhole cutting tool configured for enhanced drive consistency in low power circumstances. The tool is equipped with a hydraulic axial drive actuator suitable for use in wireline deployment. The actuator itself includes a reciprocating piston with a ball screw that threadably interfaces a ball nut for dampening the axial drive imparted by the piston. As such, even though hydraulically driven at generally well under about 10 horsepower, bounce in the axial drive is substantially eliminated. This is particularly advantageous where cutting is to be applied to downhole metal based obstructions.
