摘要: A touch panel includes an upper substrate, upper conductive layers on an upper surface of the upper substrate, a lower substrate having an upper surface facing a lower surface of the upper substrate, lower conductive layers provided on the upper surface of the lower substrate, and an adhesive layer bonding the lower surface of the upper substrate to the upper surface of the lower substrate. The adhesive layer is curable with ultraviolet ray. This touch panel prevents adhesive from being attached and having a pressing mark, thus being operated easily.

摘要: A light guide sheet and a movable contact element using the sheet are inexpensive and provide adequate illumination. In the light guide sheet, light-transmissive upper conductive layers, reflective layers, and lower conductive layers are laminated in this order in predetermined positions on the bottom surface of a light-transmissive, film-like cover sheet. The reflective layers have reverse particles dispersed therein, whose top and bottom surfaces are reversed between light color and dark color.

摘要: A touch panel including a substrate body having a wave plate, a first elastic layer and a first substrate, a second substrate facing to the substrate body, a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, a second elastic layer and a polarizing plate. A first conductive layer is formed at a face, which is a side of the second substrate, of the substrate body. A second conductive layer is formed at a face of the second substrate and faces the first conductive layer with a predetermined space therebetween. The second elastic layer is formed at a face, which is an opposite side of the first conductive layer, of the substrate body. The polarizing plate is formed at a face, which is an opposite side of the second substrate, of the second elastic layer. This structure offers a touch panel which is resistant to crack or damage to the first conductive layer that may occur when an end of the touch panel is pressed, and provides reliable operation and good viewability.

摘要: A dispersion-type EL device includes a short-bar contact, a first insulating layer, a back electrode layer, a dielectric layer, a luminescent layer, and an optically transparent electrode layer, which are sequentially formed on a temporary substrate that has been processed with an exfoliation treatment. This configuration realizes a reduction in size in a thickness direction. Furthermore, an illuminated switch unit is provided, in which a dispersion-type EL device peeled off from a temporary substrate and a wiring board having a comb-like contact are connected to each other.

摘要: According to the input device of the present invention, phase-difference plate (11) with ¼ wavelength is disposed on the top surface of upper substrate (1) of touch panel (12). As a result of passing through phase-difference plate (11), lamplight 9a that illuminates LCD element (8) goes outside as outgoing-light 9c with a phase-shift of ¼ wavelength. With the structure above, a user wearing polarized sunglasses—even if they have an absorption axis in a direction the same as that of lamplight 9a—can easily recognize the displays shown by LCD element (8) on the back surface of touch panel (12). The structure offers a user-friendly input device with good visibility of LCD element (8).

摘要: A touch panel includes a first substrate, a first resistance layer on a surface of the first substrate, a second substrate, a second resistance layer on a surface of the second substrate, a spacer having substantially a frame shape provided between outer peripheries of the first and second substrates, a sheet having a surface attached to the surface of the second substrate with a first adhesive layer, and a second adhesive layer on the surface of the sheet. The second resistance layer faces the first resistance layer by a predetermined gap between the second and first resistance layers. The second adhesive layer has an adhesion property weaker than that of the first adhesive layer. This touch panel can be attached onto a display element again easily.

摘要: A metal halide lamp includes a translucent air tight vessel having a light emitting tube portion with an internal discharge space, and sealing portions formed on both sides. A discharge medium in the discharge space contains at least metal halide and rare gas. A pair of electrodes, one ends of which are sealed at sealing portion and the other end of which are arranged in the discharge space facing each other. The discharge space has a nearly circular shape in a cross section perpendicular to the tube axis and has a structure in which the discharge medium is accumulated between the electrodes. The light emitting tube portion has a wall thickness of a lower portion thinner than that of an upper portion. The metal halide lamp has a high luminous efficiency, a quick rise of light flux and an easy manufacturing ability.

摘要: A touch panel which is constituted by using an adhesive layer having a thickness which is 70% or more of a thickness of an approximately picture-frame-like spacer which allows respective outer peripheries of an upper substrate and a lower substrate to adhere to each other is provided. Due to such a constitution, when the touch panel is used under high temperature or in an environment where the temperature difference is severely large so that the thermal expansion or shrinkage is generated on upper substrate or lower substrate, these thermal expansion and shrinkage can be absorbed by the thick and soft adhesive layer. As a result, it is possible to suppress the peeling-off of upper and lower substrates thus realizing a surely manipulable touch panel.
