Abstract:
A piston-type accumulator includes an accumulator housing provided in the form of a cylinder tube (1). A separating piston (15) separates two working spaces (5) and (6) from one another in the housing and can be displaced in an axial direction within a piston stroke area (19) of the cylinder tube (1). The cylindrical tube is closed at one axial end by a closure part (7). The closure part is defined by deforming a deforming area (9) of the wall of the cylinder tube (1). The deforming area adjoining the piston stroke area (19) is provided in the form of part that exists as a single piece with the housing. A stop body (25), which limits the movement of the separating piston (15) before reaching the deforming area (9), is provided inside the cylinder tube (1) at the location where the piston stroke area (19) transitions into the deforming area (9).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hydraulic accumulator with an accumulator housing provided in the form of a tube (1), inside of which a separating element, preferably a piston (9), which can be displaced in the axial direction (7) of the tube, separates pressure chambers (13, 15) located on either side of the separating piston. In addition, the tube (1) is closed at at least one end by a cover-like closing part (5) having a contact surface for joining to the respective end edge of the tube (1). The contact surface has a flat part provided in the form of an annular surface (39), which projects inside the tube (1) and which serves to positively brace the tube wall against radial forces, and the contact surface has an annular surface (41), which extends in a radial direction and which serves to positively brace the tube wall against axial forces.
Abstract:
Method and device for separating letters by transporting a pile of non-separated and unordered letters by a conveyor band in a continuous flow of essentially non-superposed letters which are largely distributed on said conveyor band. At least one retention plate which is fixed to an axis of rotation in a radial direction with respect thereto rotates around the axis of rotation, which is transversally arranged with respect to the transporting direction of the conveyor band, horizontally and above said conveyor band in such a way that the retention plate arranged under the axis of rotation has a velocity component oriented in the opposite direction to the direction of travel of the conveyor band.
Abstract:
A method for processing mail, wherein a plurality of mailing items inserted into insertion places are collected and subsequently transported in a container to postal centers where they are sorted in sorting devices according to postal categories. The invention is characterized in that the mail is placed in transport containers which are transported to unloading areas in postal centers. When the transport container is filled and/or during the transportation of the container to the postal centers, random partial pre-sorting of mail takes place according to postal categories so that, when, the mail is removed from the containers at the unloading areas, it is in the form of piles formed by the predetermined pre-sorting method and sorted according to the postal categories, whereupon it is guided to subsequent processing stations according to said postal categories.
Abstract:
Module for adjustment of the fill level of components in the containers of a multi-component mixing device, which is interchangeable with a static or dynamic mixer of said multicomponent device, into which amounts of the individual components are discharged until a predetermined ratio of said components is reached, at which time the module is removed and replaced by the static or dynamic mixer.
Abstract:
A hydropneumatic accumulator includes a bellows inside the accumulator housing, separating a gas chamber from an oil chamber. The bellows is fastened at one end to the accumulator housing so that the oil chamber is delimited by the inside of the bellows, and is sealed on the other free end by a closing body that is movable according to changes in volume of the gas chamber and of the oil chamber. The hydropneumatic accumulator also includes a valve to enable a hydraulic fluid to flow out of and into the oil chamber or to block the flow of the hydraulic fluid. The valve can be moved into its blocking position by the closing body when the closing body undergoes a movement corresponding to an increase in the volume of the gas chamber that exceeds a predetermined maximum value. The closing body is in the shape of a trough, with its edge located on the open end connected to the free end of the bellows. The trough extends with its lateral wall along the inside of the bellows. The bottom of the trough is configured as a moveable valve element of the valve that controls the flow of hydraulic fluid.
Abstract:
A current measuring device for measuring the current through one or a plurality of conductors (L1, L2, L3) of an array of n conductors, n being a natural number≧2, comprises n+1 magnetic-field-sensitive sensors (S1 to S4) which are arranged such that two respective magnetic-field-sensitive sensors are arranged adjacent a respective conductor. A unit (12) for reading out output signals of the magnetic-field-sensitive sensors is provided. Furthermore, the current measuring device is provided with a unit (10) for calculating the current through one or a plurality of conductors on the basis of the read output signals and on the basis of coefficients which describe the influence of currents flowing through each of the n conductors and of a constant magnetic field on the output signal of each of the magnetic-field-sensitive sensors.
Abstract:
A device for non-contractual measurement of the speed of an object moving over a surface comprises a means for radiating a signal of fixed frequency at an angle onto the surface in or against the direction of motion, said angle being variable by the movement of the object, and for receiving a Doppler-shifted signal reflected at the surface. A means is provided for combining a plurality of reflected Doppler-shifted signals, which are received in temporal succession, so as to produce a combined spectrum. The device for non-contractual speed measurement additionally comprises a means for detecting from the combined spectrum the spectral portion having the highest or lowest frequency and exceeding a predetermined signal power, and a means for deducing the speed from the frequency of the detected spectral portion.
Abstract:
A hydropneumatic pressure accumulator, includes a gas chamber, an oil chamber, and a pair of metal bellows separating the chambers. An end plate is displaced according to volume changes in the gas chamber and oil chamber. A valve releases and blocks the flow of hydraulic fluid out of and into the oil chamber and has a valve lifter that controls the valve. During the displacement of the end plate, corresponding to a volume expansion in the gas chamber exceeding a predetermined maximum value, the valve lifter can be displaced by the end plate into a position which blocks the valve. The valve lifter is connected in a fixed manner to the end plate of the metal bellows. The valve can be blocked in two opposing directions by the displacement of the valve lifter.
