摘要： The invention provides an ink jet recording head, in which, for improving heat-dissipating property and electrode terminal connectivity and reducing production cost, second electrode terminals provided on a supporting surface of plural laminated sheets for supporting a liquid discharge substrate and to be connected with first electrode terminals of the liquid discharge substrate are provided outside an ink supply aperture formed in an outermost sheet constituting the supporting surface, and are supported by the outermost sheet and at least a sheet laminated thereunder.

摘要： A liquid discharge head includes a discharge element including a discharge port, a liquid supply port, an electric connection terminal, and a heat transfer terminal. The discharge head also includes a supporting member including an electric connection terminal portion formed on a first surface thereof and electrically connected to the electric connection terminal, a heat transfer terminal junction portion formed on the first surface and connected to the heat transfer terminal, a plurality of through-holes extending between the first surface and a second surface of the supporting member, a partition wall portion separating the through-holes from each other, and a heat transfer path connected to the heat transfer terminal junction portion. An interval between the through-holes increases according to a direction from the first surface to the second surface. A volume of the heat transfer path increases according to the increase of the interval.

摘要： A liquid discharge head comprises: a discharge element substrate including a discharge port for discharging liquid and a discharge energy generating element; an electrical wiring substrate for inputting an electrical signal to the discharge energy generating element; a supporting mechanism for supporting the discharge element substrate and the electrical wiring substrate; an electrical connection portion for electrically connecting the discharge element substrate with the electrical wiring substrate; a sealant coated on the electrical connection portion; and a film-like member coating the electrical connection portion along the shape of the electrical connection portion through the sealant. Thus, the liquid discharge head resultingly includes the electrical connection portion on which the height of the sealant is suppressed and lowered sufficiently so as to prevent a problem that the electrical connection portion is damaged and/or exposed due to its height.
