    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for customizing a profile page. A first user profile and a second user profile are accessed by a computing device. First and second pluralities of content items associated with the first and second user are identified. Based on the first and second user profiles, first and second subsets of content items of the first and second plurality of content items are selected. For each content item of the first subset of content items, an image associated with the content item is identified. For each content item of the second subset of content items, an image associated with the content item is identified. Based on the identified images, first and second image collages are generated for the first and second user profiles. The first and second image collages and first and second indicators corresponding to the first and second user profiles are generated for display.

    Abstract: Systems and associated methods are described for providing media content. The system retrieves from memory a media consumption pattern profile, which includes first and second media characteristics associated as a pattern of media consumption and a time duration indicating how long a first media content item having the first media characteristic was output by a user device before the user device changed to outputting a second media content item having the second media characteristic. The system outputs a media content item onto the user device. In response to detecting the media content item has the first media characteristic and has been output for the time duration, the system outputs a third media content item having the first and second media characteristics onto the user device and after outputting the third media content item, outputs a fourth media content item having the second media characteristic onto the user device.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are presented herein for selectively preventing display of brand and business identifiers in content that is considered offensive, objectionable, disturbing, and/or unsettling, to prevent an unintended association by viewers of the content between the content and the brand or business. A request to display media content, comprising at least one frame with objectionable subject matter, is received. In response to determining the at least one frame comprises objectionable subject matter, a determination is made as to whether an entity identifier is visible in the at least one frame. In response to determining at least one entity identifier is visible in the at least one frame, a first context of the objectionable subject matter and a second context of the entity identifier are determined. The first context is compared to the second context and, based on the comparing, a masking action is determined to be required for the entity identifier.

    Abstract: Improved content recommendations are generated based on a knowledge graph of a content item, which is based on an attribute of the content item, metadata regarding the content item, a viewing history, and user preferences determined by analysis and selected by a user.     Abstract: A content provision system is disclosed. The advent of potential interactivity in advertisements and other content items means that the time for which those advertisements absorb the attention of the user cannot be known in advance. This presents a challenge when the interactive advertisements or other content items are to be accommodated in a scheduled slot for such items. To address this challenge, the duration of interaction of each interactive content item is estimated, statistically measured or modelled in advance of the scheduled slot, and at least one of the interactive items is provided in the slot at a time which accords with the duration of interaction. Where there are a plurality of interactive content items for inclusion in the slot, the interactive contents items can be ordered such that those having a longer duration of interaction are provided closer to the start of the slot.
