摘要: A wireless communication network includes a base station and a relay station. The relay station is configured to relay communications between the base station and at least one subscriber station. The base station is configured to communicate with the subscriber station via the relay station. The base station further is configured to transmit, in a subframe, a plurality of transport blocks for a plurality of Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) processes to the relay station. Each transport block corresponds to a different HARQ process.

The offset value is determined based on a first value O determined according to the index indicated in the MIB, wherein the index configures PDCCH monitoring occasions, and a second value μ indicated in the MIB, wherein the second value μ represents a subcarrier spacing configuration, wherein M is a positive number determined according to the index indicated in the MIB, and cause the transceiver to decode a PDCCH in the slot index n0.

摘要: A base station capable of communicating with a user equipment (UE) includes a transceiver configured to transmit 8-port Channel State Information-Reference Signal (CSI-RS) according to a CSI-RS configuration for the UE, and downlink signals containing the CSI-RS configuration on physical downlink shared channels (PDSCH), and receive, from the UE, uplink signals containing Precoder Matrix Indicator (PMI) derived using the 8-port CSI-RS, and a controller configured to convert the PMI to one of predetermined precoding vectors. A user equipment includes a transceiver configured to receive downlink signals containing a CSI-RS configuration on PDSCH transmitted by the BS, and 8-port CSI-RS according to the CSI-RS configuration, and transmit uplink signals containing a PMI, a controller configured to decode the CSI-RS configuration from the downlink signals, and derive the PMI by utilizing channel estimates based on the 8-port CSI-RS, the PMI mapped to one of precoding vectors.

摘要: A system and method for enhanced cell detection by a User Equipment (UE) is provided. The UE includes a transceiver configured to receive a discovery reference signal (DRS) occasion from at least one transmission point. The DRS occasion comprising a set of consecutive DRS sub-frames. The UE also includes processing circuitry configured to: in response to detecting a physical cell identity (PCID) of a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS)/Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS)/Cell-Specific Reference Signal (CRS) that is the same as a reference PCID for a configured Channel State Information—Reference Signal (CSI-RS) resource, the processing circuitry attempts to detect or measure the CSI-RS using the timing obtained from the PSS/SSS/CRS; and in response to not detecting a PCID of PSS/SSS/CRS that is the same as the reference PCID for a configured CSI-RS resource (TP), the processing circuitry does not attempt to detect or measure the CSI-RS.

A method of operating a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station (BS), sets of higher-layer configuration information. When configured for mobility measurement on SS and physical broadcast channel (PBCH) (SS/PBCH) blocks, the UE identifies, based on one of the sets of higher-layer configuration information, a first set of SS/PBCH blocks configured for the mobility measurement; and measures and reports mobility measurement quantities for the first set of SS/PBCH blocks. When configured for receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), the UE identifies, based on another of the sets of higher-layer configuration information, a second set of SS/PBCH blocks configured for the UE; and receives the PDSCH with rate matching around a SS/PBCH block included in the second set of SS/PBCH blocks.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for CSI reporting mechanisms are provided. A user equipment (UE) apparatus includes a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver is configured to receive configuration information for channel state information (CSI) reporting and receive configuration information for a plurality of precoding codebook parameters. The processor is operably connected to the transceiver, and configured to calculate, in response to receipt of the configuration information for the CSI reporting and the configuration information for the plurality of precoding codebook parameters, a first precoding matrix indicator (PMI) and a second PMI, wherein the first PMI includes one or two codebook indices. The transceiver is further configured to transmit the CSI reporting on an uplink channel, the CSI reporting including a channel quality indicator (CQI), a rank indicator (RI), and the calculated first and second PMIs.
