摘要： In progressing a video gate in accordance with a game software program read out from a video game program recording medium and in converting the contents for printing into printing data, which is printed, the printer driver stored in a non-volatile memory is to be updated to enable the printing by the latest printer driver. To this end, as a printer driver is read from the video game program recording medium at step S11, the version of the printer driver as read out is checked at step S12. If the printer driver as read out is of a new version, the printer driver in the memory card is updated at step S13.

摘要： Recording paper fed from a paper feed section comes in contact with a paper detection member of a detector unit and the paper detection member is rotated about a first fulcrum, shading the optical axis of an optical sensor. When the recording paper passes through and the paper detection member is brought out of contact with the recording paper, the paper detection member is restored to the former position and does not shade the optical axis. A carriage/cartridge detection member of the detector unit comes in contact with a carriage engagement part and a cartridge engagement part placed in a carriage and is rotated about a second fulcrum, shading the optical axis of the optical sensor. When the carriage/cartridge detection member is brought out of contact with the engagement parts, the carriage/cartridge detection member is restored to the former position and does not shade the optical axis.

摘要： In a process for casting a plate grid for a lead-acid storage battery comprising the steps of preparing a casting die assembly including two interengagable die halves between which is formed a casting cavity to cast a plate grid therein and pouring a molten metal of lead or lead alloy into said casting cavity to form said plate grid therein, an air in said casting cavity is vented through gaps between said die halves and then through a narrow air passage in at least one venting member received in either of said die halves so that said venting member is flush with the casting surface of the corresponding die half, said venting member at the top surface having cavity forming portions operatively associated with said die halves.
