    摘要: The invention is directed to an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine which includes a first case which has at least an opening portion at its bottom, a primary winding and a secondary winding which are received in the first case, a secondary terminal which is electrically connected to the secondary winding and placed within the first case in the vicinity of the opening portion at the bottom of the first case, and a second case which has a cover portion connected with the opening portion at the bottom of the first case, and which has a cylindrical portion extending from the cover portion. The ignition coil further includes a high-tension terminal which has a shaft held on a central axis of the cylindrical portion of the second case, and which is electrically connected to the secondary terminal. Then, a synthetic resin is filled in the first case and the second case connected therewith so as to fix and insulate the primary winding, secondary winding, secondary terminal and high-tension terminal. The first case may have a second opening portion at its one side, so that the synthetic resin is filled into the first case and the second case, through the second opening portion.

    摘要: The present invention provides a throttle valve opening degree sensor for detecting the opening degree of a throttle valve used for an internal combustion engine wherein a rotor shaft capable of interlocking with a throttle valve has a cylindrical covering portion having an outer circumferential cylindrical body at the outer end, the cylindrical covering portion covering the outer end of the bearing portion exposed to the base portion of the housing and having an elastic engaging portion having cross-like splitted grooves at the top end and a square outer periphery, and the rotor has a square engaging hole capable of fitting the elastic engaging portion, the elastic engaging portion being fitted to and elastically abutted against the engaging hole thereby securing the rotor to the rotor shaft. According to the throttle valve opening degree sensor, it can prevent the deviation of the rotor from the center and enhance the accuracy for the attaching position, and provide water proofness and dust proofness for the outer end of the rotor shaft and the bearing portion.

    摘要: A method of and system for controlling the speed of a motor vehicle based on a control characteristic so that the speed of the vehicle follows a target speed. The system estimates a dynamic characteristic of the motor vehicle to adjust the control characteristic when the motor vehicle is under a cruising control. The system includes a sensor for detecting a speed of the motor vehicle and a sensor for detecting an operating position of an actuator which adjusts a travelling speed of the motor vehicle. In the system, the detected vehicle speed and actuator operating position are converted into data in terms of an imaginary operating point. The imaginary operating point remains constant because it is not affected by variations of a static characteristic of the motor vehicle. The dynamic characteristic of the motor vehicle is estimated on the basis of the conversion data. This arrangement can accurately estimate the dynamic characteristic of the motor vehicle.

    摘要: A motor-driven throttle valve control device for an automobile having an auto-drive function for keeping a running speed of the automobile constant, including a throttle shaft for opening and closing a throttle valve by a rotation thereof; a spring for rotating the throttle shaft in a direction to open the throttle valve; a limiter for limiting a maximum opening angle of the throttle shaft against a biasing force of the spring; a first operating device for rotating the limiter around the throttle shaft in response to an operational amount of depression of an accelerator device of the automobile; a second operating device for limiting an opening angle of the throttle shaft within a range between the maximum opening angle defined by the limiter and a full closed angle of the throttle valve; a motor for rotating the second operating device around the throttle shaft; a third operating device for opening the throttle shaft beyond the maximum opening angle defined by the limiter; and a connecting device for connecting the third operating device to the motor while the auto-drive function of the automobile is activated; whereby an opening angle of the throttle shaft is adjusted by the motor within the range equal to or less than the maximum rotating angle defined by the operational amount of the accelerator device while the auto-drive function is not activated, and an opening angle of the throttle shaft is adjusted by the motor irrespective of the operational amount of the accelerator device so as to keep the running speed of the automobile constant while the auto-drive function is activated.
