    摘要: An area light source device that is capable of more evenly emitting light and capable of enhancing the light emission luminance by exiting light of narrower directional characteristics. A light guide substrate includes a light introducing section and a light guide plate main body for exiting the light from a light exit surface. A number of diffusion patterns are formed at the light exit surface. A low refraction index layer is formed at the lower surface of the light guide plate main body, and a reflection layer is formed at the lower surface of the low refraction index layer. The point light source is arranged at a position facing the end face of the light introducing section. A tapered portion inclined to gradually increase the thickness of the light introducing section the farther away from the light source is arranged on the upper surface of the light introducing section.

    摘要: One virtual rod electrode is composed by a plurality of electrode plain plates arranged in the ion optical axis direction, and four virtual rod electrodes are arranged around the ion optical axis to form a virtual quadrupole rod type ion transport optical system (30). In one virtual rod electrode, the interval between the adjacent electrode plain plates is set to be large in the anterior area (30A) and small in the posterior area (30B). As the interval between electrodes becomes larger, high-order multipole field components increase and therefore the ion acceptance is increased, which enables an efficient acceptance of ions coming from the previous stage. On the other hand, if the interval between electrodes is small, the quadrupole field components relatively increase and the ion beam's convergence is improved. Therefore, ions can be effectively introduced into a quadrupole mass filter for example in the subsequent stage, which contributes to the enhancement of the mass analysis' sensitivity and accuracy.

The head support device reduces manufacturing variation in a load and the number of components, and has stability and reliability, while being inexpensive. In this head support device, a flange and a nut cramp, via a collar, a head support arm having a reinforcing plate fixed thereto. The head support arm is supported rotatably about a line provided between contact points at which pivots contact the flange and in a direction perpendicular to a recording medium. A spring as an elastic member provides an urging force toward the recording medium, and is provided unitarily with the head support arm. Bent portions are provided on both sides of the arm composing the head support arm to a tab.

The transparent rubber-like resin 113 holds the prism sheet without any deformation without any application of external force, thus preventing any occurrence of an optical close contact between the prism sheet 115 and the protecting sheet 112. In contrast, the transparent rubber-like resin 113 is deformed with the application of the external force, thus preventing any breakage of the prism 116.

    摘要: The present invention provides a head holding member and a head holding method of a head actuator having a very high impact resisting property by a simple construction, and a disk device using the head holding member and the head holding method. Concretely, a head support arm has a leaf spring portion for pressing the head support arm against a lamp portion (14), and is constructed so as to be rotated around a line perpendicular to a plane formed by a center line of the longitudinal direction of the head support arm and the axis of a rotating shaft. The head holding member is constructed by forming a load side wall face (14d), a tab portion upper wall face (14g) and a tab portion holding plane (14e) in the lamp portion (14). The load side wall face (14d) prevents tab portion (8a) from being moved from an escaping position to the direction of recording medium (4) and tab portion (8a) abuts on load side wall face (14d). Tab portion upper wall face (14g) prevents tab portion (8a) from being moved in the upward direction. Tab portion holding plane (14e) holds tab portion (8a) in the escaping position. Thus, the head holding member resists an impact applied at a stopping time, and a stable operation can be performed at a power turning-on time.
